is there a way to get just the clemenceau?

I would much rather see the Midway and Coral Sea in their 1950s refit configuration for the A-6

Yeah a Midway and coral sea with their 1950s Refits would be awesome for Vietnam type campaigns, the 1950s refits is the refits they received prior to Vietnam and kept those refits through Vietnam, Coral and Midway got the refit that made them look the way they are today in the 70s late 70s I think

So it is possible that HB could do the Forestall and Saratoga first then later on down the road do the Ranger and Independence as from what I can tell the differences between the two “groups/sub-class” is a slight variation in the island, and of course each have smaller differences between the other ship in their “group/sub-class”, Regardless I hope in the long run HB does the entire Forestall class as it would be a nice addition to DCS especially when we get the Vietnam Map whenever it comes because to be honest a Vietnam map is inevitable

The USS Forestal and USS Saratoga where both similar and where slightly different than the USS Ranger and USS Independence which where both similar, The most visible differences were between the first pair and second pair: Forrestal and Saratogawere completed with two island masts, an open fantail, and a larger flight deck segment forward of the port aircraft elevator; Rangerand Independence had a single island mast, a more closed fantail (as seen in all carriers since), and a smaller flight deck segment forward of the port aircraft elevator.

I think it would be better for the carriers if Ranger and Saratoga are done along side the Forestall for F-14 module, and do the Kitty Hawk class with the A-6 module when it releases down the road.

I think the F-4E and F-4J or F-4S would be awesome additions to DCS and much needed when the F-8, A-7E, A-6E release and would be needed when we get the Vietnam map because to be honest a Vietnam map is inevitable, and if Heatblur did the F-4E,J or S would make such a module extremely good with their excellent Textures, model, Flight model, and AI RIO. Regardless I hope when HB is done with F-14 that they tackle the F-4 and possibly a Vietnam era Midway class ( Midway & Coral Sea) to go along with a F-4 module like they are doing with Forestall class with the F-14 module.

I think one including the Gulf of Mexico, corpus Christi Texas to Cuba and part of Florida coast like Tampa down to key west, would allow for training ops etc. as corpus is a NAS, and Pensacola is a big NAS, Ellington field in Houston is big for NASA T-38s and a ANG base, I think it would be cool to see a map that size however I don’t know the dimensions of such a map but would be cool but would probably have to wait for Multi Threading for a map that big

I would kill for the 1955 CVA-41, 1971 CV-41, 1952 CVA-43, 1979 CV-43, USS Oriskany, USS John F Kennedy, USS Enterprise CVN-65. Regardless can’t wait to see HMAS released

Would be nice to see the EA-6B mod team up with the A-6E mod and work together for building up the Flight model and making the EA-6B Flyable with a EFM, I known both fly differently, but would be nice to see the two mods working together

Yeah it’s Heatblur doing the Forestal to be included with the F-14A/B module

I would imagine that the Super Tomcat (it’s what they pretty much called it) would’ve had a APU, Glass cockpit much like the Super hornets yet much more spacious with possibly larger MFDs like about the size of the ones in the AH-64D, the rear would definitely have at least 2 MFDs plus the MFD version of the TID (I think it was called the PTID), GPS IS system much like what is in the hornet, Datalink similar to the Hornets, IFF like what’s in the hornet, Full Fly By Wire, much more powerful engines such as the Version of the GE-F110 engines that are in the viper (I think F-129s), Improved AIM-54s better guidance and better motor, and a Lightning Pod, And a HMD for the Pilot and probably the Rio probably like what the WSO in the F18 has (might be the same in the front and the back idk), I would imagine the cockpit frame would still be a A Frame, the Stick I could see still being the Original Tomcat’s Stick yet function on it, and the throttle probably having MFD functions on it such as TMS, and SOI, as other functions for TGP, RDR, etc. are controlled by the RIO, I could see the cockpits still having that wide tomcat pit and same angles etc. yet looking much more modern with more modernized switches, lights, but still having the Grumman Red Cockpit lighting, and the cockpit would probably look much more Clean like in the F18 not sure really how to explain it, the cockpit would still very much look like the F14s yet much more modern and clean. Regardless I wish you luck if you do pursue this, and I will be willing to help you if you pursue this how ever my experience is more as a 2D artist. Regardless if this gets off the ground it would bring new life to the F14 and I once again wish you luck if you plan to pursue this.

@Admiral189 will you be doing USS Independence LCS-2? And any older US Ships/carriers like the 1986 USS Midway Upgrade, or like USS Missouri BB-63 With her Upgrades she had before Desert Storm. Regardless awesome LCS-1 cant wait to see her in the sim and the Kidd

This would be useful to tell AI aircraft to go to a specific spot, and for Players dosen’t really matter but would be used for AI

Yeah so it would be a similar situation to cruise ships at Grand Cayman where they have to ether anchor or use their engines to keep them in place, and then tenders come up and take passengers or sailors in the case of a CVN

@Cdodders I think so if I remember right if you set day a SAM to Alarm state red then it should on mission start have it’s missiles on the launchers ready to fire not sure if there is a difference if you done set it to Alan state red but I’m pretty sure alarm state red just tells it to load it’s ammo on mission start I might be wrong

She sure looks good, are you going to do Australian Frigates, Cruisers, etc. or More US carriers like the USS Midway 1986 version, USS Enterprise, or like USS Jhon F Kennedy. Ether way awesome work and can’t wait to use her.
