If you're thinking of buying a Warthog you can't do better than BH Photo. I've bought two from them lately with the last one being delivered yesterday. Both have the new slew. I'm not sure when that change took place. edit....I just noticed the sale ends today.

The biggest problem the Hog has is it's flown low and slow when attacking.

You really can't put down polymer. The real F/A-18c grip is polymer and so is the frame on a Glock.

At a minimum he should have had a wingman. Of course the Hog is vulnerable. Which is why all the precautions should be taken.

Thanks. One thing I have is lots of time to do what I want now. I outlived everybody and I can't do my main passions of elk hunting and fly fishing anymore. So, gaming it is. The hardest part is trying to remember everything. Memory is not so hot now. So, I make a lot of notes.

Not sure the Hog is as tough as the P-47 right now. It should be tougher.

I bought a bunch of planes and maps but I only install the plane i'm flying and the PG map. It's still not a small install compared to other games but not too bad when done my way.

Yes, they moved it and we can't assign a stick button to it anymore. You'll need to use key presses now. Too bad I use it all the time to write stuff down. edit...I just assigned it to the mouse scroll wheel press. That will be easy to use.

A titanium hull around the engines would have been good but probably too expensive.

I agree that it lags behind where we look in Trackir. It's annoying and hard on the eyes to look out the corner of my eye. I'm blind in one eye and it's really bad looking out that side. I pretty much don't use the HMCS because of it. I complained when the A-10C II first came out but nothing was done about it. It's too tempting to just leave it shut off, so i'm going to go back to flying the A-10C again. She's still a good plane and fun to fly. Lot's of missions and campaigns to do. Easier on the memory. A good old farts plane. I just turned 80 a few days ago, so I qualify. Good luck with the HMCS.

I agree there's a problem with VR and should be fixed.

I was responding to those saying the problem is in VR and 2D.

Did you know we can bust the bulbs hanging down at the top of the screen? Just run your mouse pointer sideways through the bulbs and see what happens.

I zoom all the time when hunting. Either with the scope or binos. This is not real life. It's a sim and adjustments need to be made to make it playable. As long as everybody has the same advantage it's not cheating.
