In the A10C II the right MFCD goes black a few seconds after I start rolling. The same when I start in the air. No matter what the MFCD was showing. I can`t turn it on again , no matter what I do. Need help. DCS repair showed no success. Urgent !

Hi, several times now, ( and usually when my landing has been somewhat interesting in the wind on the SC case 1 mission) I trap and the wire wont disengage from my hook, and starts pulling me backwards. Sometimes, by moving the jet around I can get it drop off, other times, its got me man and wont let go.....Obvs I have tried raising and lowering the hook several times, no go..... Anyone else get this? It a bit annoying as the last time it happened, it pullled me into some parked planes as we were wrestling with each other and I got a fratricide and scores wiped!!!

There's a long standing persistent bug with the AZEL page. In about 1 in 10 of my Hornet flights I have an empty AZEL page, no DL or radar contacts. I've tried cycling AA/AG, I've trying cycling power off/on on the DL, tried changing weapons, nothing seems to jump start it's functionality. It only resolves if I re-slot. Does anyone know what causes this bug? Maybe some cold start switch activation order that should be avoided? I can't figure it out. Edit: It's happened to me in hot start too, so disregard what I asked about cold start switch activation.

In cockpit APU switch not animated when using any joystick binding for APU. The APU starts and stops as expected but cockpit switch does not move. Problem is the same for both A10C and A10CII. How to reproduce: Instant action, cold and dark in Caucasus. Turn on Battery and inverter. Turn on APU using joystick binding. APU starts but APU switch stays in off position.

To set this screenshot up, i set my touch controllers on the top corners of my keyboard tray, with the corners passing through the palm grips of the controllers. the tray is 20 inches (50cm) wide. Note that the DCS fingers are intersecting one another by about 2 inches (5cm), meaning that the fingertip in VR is approximately 12 inches (30 cm) forward of where my physical palms are, which puts it about 9 inches (23cm) forward of where my real fingertip is. In addition, you can see that the DCS VR hand is more than one full hand-width above the grip on the controller. In VR, when i rotate my wrist 180 degrees, my VR hand traces an arc with a radius of about 5 inches (13 cm). This makes reaching some of the buttons in the cockpit extremely awkward. I understand that the Eagle devs might have higher priorities to deal with, but it has been like this since I bought my Index, more than three years ago (nearly four) now. If the DCS Dev team does not have the spare time to configure hand position data for the various touch controllers on the market, could you at least give us a set of sliders under VR options to modify the 6-axis position of the VR hands? Or if that's too much work, expose the values for this in a text file we can edit ourselves to a comfortable position? Having to work through the Kama Sutra to start up various aircraft is starting to get old.

After the latest update, whenever I try to engage either BALT or RALT, I get an immediate Master Caution indication, warning tone and an AUTO PILOT indication on the the left DDI and neither hold mode will show as being engaged. All other AP hold modes (ATT, CPL, HDG) work as intended... It's only the altitude hold modes that are not working. All was fine prior to the FM update. Thoughts?

Hello everyone, Ever since the latest update, every time I start any Instant action mission the mission starts up with the plane experiencing on automatic, yaw input, and that input remains constantly. When I activate the auto pilot, that sometimes lines everything up, but you can see that it constantly is trying to correct the slight input that it’s encountering. I’ve gone out of the cockpit to view the exterior of the plane and I don’t see the Rutters moving and they appear to be straight. It is very annoying because it is throwing off any bombing sequence I tried to do. I was taking off from a carrier deck, went to align the hmd in flight, and the hmd disappeared. knob to turn it on/off still seemed to affect the mfd showing/hiding the HMD page where you couuld select into alignment, mids setup, etc. It seemed like the HUD recognized that I was in the hmd because I was entering into HACQ I was playing in VR. Hello,I tried to get a green ir view via rshift+h and all the night swiches in night position and NVG on.Also the bindings are in default and working,but the night vision goggles view is not popping up in f18c.I followed Grim Reapers videos on this particular item ,but no results .Maybe somebody knows a solution ? I use the stable version with the latest update.

All ED jets can't loop in vertical plane perfectly when the only input is pulling the stick,they will roll,while third party jets can(I tested AV-8B,AJS-37,C-101,F-14B,JF-17,MiG-21bis).To eliminate rolling I tested them with keyboard 'down' to provide a constant amount of stick pull,and there is no wind,no turbulence and I found it's not due to fuel.Is it bug? Twice in the last few nights I've been flying along and my IHADSS just goes away with no way to get it back. I watched from outside as my pilot removes and then re-installs the monocle, but from the F1 view the symbology is gone. Anyone else notice this? I'll make a trk. next time it happens.

I believe I finally figured out why there are certain desyncs happening. I was flying with someone, as CPG, and was on the A/C -> UTIL page when a new emitter popped up and set the right MFD to TSD via autopaging. I then went into UTIL (on the TSD page) and hit L1 for an INU1 Reset. At the same time my copilot complained about an "FMC disengaged" message and sure enough on his end the Pitch FMC channel was disengaged (L1 on the A/C -> UTIL page), but it was not on my end. Whenever he switched it on henceforth would turn it off for me and vice versa. I believe the bug results from the back seat client not knowing that autopaging has occurred in the front seat. Will provide a track as soon as I reproduced this. -

I play Stable (2.8.7 as of now) and here's the weird thing: I've tried the mission 2 times without a problem. And then, 2nd restart (so, third time playing the mission), this happens: But every time now! Restarting the game doesn't help either! I've also added a track file if that helps... I know this..i saw wags video, but i tried to wait more and more but nothing: after i press to norm: nothing happens, i can only switch to maa, the other button are useless (FCR..) i made a repair but nothing... first 2 Photos are from Matt's video, thee last 2 mine: it seems that is corrupted, the buttons are ineffective and different from Matt's video

On training missions I cannot hear the instructors voice, everything else sounds fine, I can hear a muffled sound in the background barely audible. What are the best settings to hear his voice? This is with headphones and speakers Thanks

Ka-50 III The INU coordinate correction using the flyby method does not work. The entered fixed point coordinates (setup ABRIS coordinate format xx° xx´ xx" => xx° xx,xx´ = PVI-800/INU format xx° xx,x´) are not saved to PVI-800/INU after double pressing the Uncage Shkval button (they were before). I further assume that any fixed point coordinates (for function checking) should go in as initial for the INU system. INU cannot know if the fixed point coordinates are correct, so it should set them as initial. If this correction cannot be made correctly, the TDC positions on ABRIS and Shkval do not match. I am reliably crashing to desktop whenever I startup my Hornet on my favorite MP server. By testing I could narrow down that this is triggered by some avionics being powered (generators coming online when engine start). With normal startup procedure the game will crash when the first engine (L or R, both same symptoms) has spooled up. If I switch off the generators before, engines can maintain idle RPM and react to throttle inputs normally. The moment I switch on the generator of the running engine, CTD... Happens also when not starting engines at all and connecting to ground power. After all 4 external power switches are flipped on and MPDs are switched on, crash to desktop. So i have only noticed this happening after the last update. It feels like its random when it happens, and is most prevelant when using dgf switch aft however this has happend in normal A-A mode aswell. i've tried to set up missions to replicate the problem without success. it seems like you have to dogfight for a while for this to happen. If you just load up a mission and shoot the sidewinder at the merge it works fine. it's worth to note that i have only tried this with the aim 9M. I have had one instance with 2 aim 120c's fireing while i was tring to launch a harm, however i think thats because i left the dogfight switch in aft possition even though i somehow got into a-g mode. I've experienced the bug in both multiplayer and singleplayer and i've mostly been playing on the syria map on the hogit SAW mission but the track file and video is in singleplayer (yes i finally got it to happen in a mission i set up just for this test. since it seems like you have to fight for a bit i leave in the full 5 min of gameplay. I've used BogeyDope's tutorials over on YouTube to learn how to mark and drop the JDAM bombs via the TGP. Using a tank as an example, I would put the cross hair at the very base of the tank tread and the 500 pound JDAM would score a direct hit. Lately, I am hitting short of the target. Using the zoom and the VR zoom to verify, I am just touching the base of the vehicle. If I put the crosshair on the tank itself, the bomb will overfly the target. I am (correctly) using the range slider on the right side of the HUD and drop from 15K or so, depending on cloud cover. Has anything changed in the recent releases that changed how JDAMs hit? I'm also finding it hard to find the target via the TGP at times, whether in TV or the IR modes. Thanks! I appreciate your help!

Hi, I just tried to fly a mission but once in the air there were no weapons on stores page. I saw them on wings though. I also got a "hey what are you doing call" from the crew chief on the carrier shortly after i requested my re-arming. Hereby a track from the short flight. In the above mission, for a little while there has been an issue I used to never have. I use this mission to keep fresh in Hornet Cold Start, and what I would do is go through all the cold start and then when done I would taxi to the catapult take off and fly around for a bit before returning to carrier. Now the chief will not remove the wheel chocks for me. He confirms and says he did but they never get removed and I can not proceed any further after the cold start. I just go to the takeoff from catapult mission to continue but would very much like for it to return the way it was. I miss taxing to the catapult which I enjoy. I have tried a full slow repair of DCS World and that did not work. I am not sure if this has been reported, or if for whatever crazy reason it is only happening to me. I realize this is a minor thing and maybe not get addressed but I would sure love it if it got fixed to the way it was. And again has been several weeks so not just relegated to 2.9. Thanks for any help here,

Good afternoon, I previously posted about this but after running the repair the bug has come back again. When I sit in the CPG seat the George interface will only show when in the CMWS page and not for any of the other pages making it virtually impossible to use the Apache when in the front seat. It works fine when I am in the Pilots seat just the CPG seat that it is bugged. I have ran the repair again and also re-installed the Apache but the bug will no longer clear. Many thanks. So I ran exactly the same mission last night, so have been able to compare back to back. Scanning an SA2 site and then selecting the tracking radar, then engage..............George either missed completely several times, mostly with missile and terrain collisions or when he finally did shoot something he shot the wrong target, not the one I had selected, he did that multiple times. 1: General accuracy seems worse than last Beta version ( I was using the K model ) 2: George doesn't engage the target you selected when there is a group I can't imagine this is my imagination as it is the polar opposite of my experience in the previous version, which almost made me wonder if they were too accurate ?
