NeilWillis Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I wont buy another trainer so they can release it after or before L-39 same thing for me. I already have Hawk and C-101 enough. /sarcasm on/ I can't begin to describe how distraught at reading this post. No more trainers for you? OMG!!! I am so so glad you took the time to tell everyone this, I am sure it'll make all the producers sit up and take notice. I for one was absolutely horrified to think we might not have found this information out had you not taken the time and trouble to tell us all. On the other hand, perhaps some people out there couldn't give a toss one way or another. Amazing! /sarcasm off/ One thing I can't fathom out here though, is how you conclude that the Mirage is a trainer? Or perhaps this posting is utterly irrelevant, and has nothing at all to do with the Mirage 2000C? Or were you just letting RAZBAM know when they ought to release their module? I'm sure they had no idea until you put them straight!

And this relates to Mirage 2000 how exactly? Do, or do not, there is no try. -------------------------------------------------------- Sapphire Nitro+ Rx Vega 64, i7 4790K ... etc. etc.
didilman Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 (edited) I just answer what he says. Keep cool buddy. No I dont put M2000 in trainer I know its not. I didnt say L-39 is bad. I admit my sentence was wrongly typed and that it have nothing to do with M2000C , sorry. Edited September 17, 2015 by didilman

My point was clear and never put a trainer with a successful and combat proven fighter. my point was on the commercial side. It is clear that the planes are being released one by one, each taking the time to be promoted and to be sold. That makes full sense from the commercial point of view.

sedenion Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Zeus67, do you remember you have to remove these ugly yellow / green background on the HUD ? (i ask , because it seem near to be finished , and these things still here ... ) :music_whistling:

(i ask , because it seem near to be finished , and these things still here ... ) :music_whistling: That background is there to show the HUD's FOV area. There are elements still missing, so it will remain there for a while. Don't worry, it will be gone ASAP. Airwolf435 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Hey zeus, loving the screenshots so far. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a few that show the RWR in operation if its complete? Also was wondering if anyone has a accurate list of what weapons have been confirmed to be usable by the module? 1

Python Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Did we ever have any indication of a time frame on this one? I'm presuming it will be 2016? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Manuel_108 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 I wonder what the green PC light stands for in the cockpit dogfight shots.
McBlemmen Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 A thought just occured to me , this will be the first DCS aircraft with an AFM that uses probe and drogue as AAR method , right? Does that require any changes to the current prope and drogue tankers to work properly? the more i think about this module the more excited i get , at first i wasnt interested in this aircraft whatsoever but now it's up there along with the F14 :)

domini99 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Just a quick question to the future Mirage pilots. I'm getting the Eurofighter Typhoon when it gets released, the Mirage isn't really THE jet for me. Do you Mirage pilots still want to fly with me? :)
didilman Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 No I dont want. :) Yes I will so we kick some Mig-29 and Su-33.
Chrinik Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Did we ever have any indication of a time frame on this one? I'm presuming it will be 2016? No...it´s very close. Probably shortly after the release of 1.5. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] GCI: "Control to SEAD: Enemy SAM site 190 for 30, cleared to engage" Striker: "Copy, say Altitude?" GCI: "....Deck....it´s a SAM site..." I d meanwhile enjoy the mirage tomcat and hornet
RNeves Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 No...it´s very close. Probably shortly after the release of 1.5. IIRC we didn’t even see the RWR working so I bet that this aircraft won't be out before december... VincentLaw Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Really? Damn I thought it was a lot closer.I think RNeves is mostly shooting in the dark with that guess. There could already be a significant amount of work done for the RWR without the display elements in place yet, or it might simply not take that long to finish. I am more interested in hearing about the progress of the EFM since we don't have much info about that. I know it's harder to take an informative screenshot of a flight model than bombs dropping, so it's easy to understand why. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
