[DCS World FC3] Complete Su-27 English Cockpit Mod

I'm sorry about Su-33. That mod must be outdated, but I've been working on it for 4~5 days.

 

Actually I've just completed full English cockpit for Su-33, but I'm struggling with "specular textures" for 2 days, and I guess it will take more two days to finish it.

 

So, until my announcement, just ignore that mod, and you're right, it may not work with latest version of DCS.

Yeah specular stuff works differently in PBR so make sure you're not reading older guides which aren't for PBR. Youtube helps, take a bit of searching around, I was looking into that when I wante d to learn the differences while doing some UE4 dev stuff.

Positive. I've updated almost all of them for both versions of DCS World. There's one or two mods left. I'll handle them in this week. If you see Integrity Check - OK text in NOTES section (in ReadMe text) or if the last update date is june, july or august, then you can be sure that that mod has been updated.

Yes, I've read and watched lots of things but ED artists do something different. The knowledge that I got works a little bit, but still I can't yield same result just like ED's SPEC DDS files. I know there's a important trick, but I couldn't figure it out.

 

But OK. I've done all these in most difficult way. I cleaned up all specular textures pixel by pixel. :) instead re-create them automatically from normal texture.

Even though I installed the mod and get the english cockpit names, the HUD still stays Russian, is that a bug?

The HUD language is changed elsewhere. Go into the sim's Options and you'll find it. It might be in the gameplay submenu. There's an option to use either the native language or English. Look around and you'll find it.

If you downloaded Su-33 cockpits (v1.4 or v1.1), please re-download them (v1.4a & v1.1a). A fix applied. Sorry.

I just want to say thank you, not just for this one, but for all these cockpits mods you bring, Devrim. :thumbup:

 

Kind of ashamed really, not having it done before as these are all stupendous pieces that I've used and found close to mandatory, for FC3 and other modules I've acquired, ever since you came up with the first ones years back.

 

Maybe even before those, if counting the english cpit mod for the free Su-25T.

Hi Devrim! Yoyr textures Mod is so awesome! I love it so much that i even started to expand it to make it NATO style cockpit with green lit gauges, black canopy and dashboards. Want to make version where all cockpit will be black. I took all panels and devises and made them green.

But i have problem finding gray dashes texture. How you made them grey? Where is this texture located? I can`t find cockpit inner "walls" texture to change it`s color. Could you help me finding this texture please.
