It's probably to do with licencing, as that part of the map was built for the Lockon series which is owned by Ubisoft. I suspect that while ED made it, they don't own it, so would either have to licence it or remake it again, both of which would be a money/resource waste when you consider there's been an entire new map system on the cards for a couple of years now. Nate--IRL-- Posted November 6, 2014 Share Posted November 6, 2014 When the application was 32bit, there was not enough memory address space available to retain the Crimea and add the new portion of the Georgia map to the east. But no need for it to be done soon, i'd prefer if the entire current map got redone for EDGE adding the crimea and preferably some turkey airbases as well. Wouldn't have to be as detailed as the NTTR map though, quite happy whit what we have already and something inbetween would be good enough for me. AFAIK Crimea and current map shares same level of detail, why not include it back? Seems is not a too hard to do thing. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
