For me personally, any of the following would be awesome :

Ju-88

B-17

B-25

A-26

Su-24

Su-34

F-111

A-6

A-7

Tu-22M

I would especially love Su-24 or Ju-88. Su-34 would be awesome but I wouldn't expect much unclassified info would be around for that one. And B-2 is just outright unrealistic expectation in my opinion :).

B-1, Tu-160, Tu-95, B-52 are pretty awesome aircraft in their own right, but not my cup of tea I guess, while I wouldn't be interested much in them, they would be awesome additions nevertheless.

Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V

A-6 Intruder!!! More carrier ops and a great two seater. Plus, the info should not be terribly hard to acquire on this beast. I would love to go SAM hunting at night. Launch and recovery from a carrier. This would be a good addition to the F-18.

The EDIT -

OK. my revised pick is the Intruder ... and that tallies well with the MiG21.

**Original post ~ changed as it was answered earlier in the thread ... :)**

Why isn't the Lancaster represented in the poll?

I didn't vote in this poll ... but would've picked the Avro Lancaster had it been.

Considering the massive contribution the Lancaster made in terms of aircrew sacrifice and tonnage dropped, it deserves a spot in the poll .. alongside with the B-17 which was also a stellar performer.

Question already answered prior to posing my question ... :)

"A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft."

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

A-6E Intruder for me too, it's my favorite bomber.

I dream of this airplane in DCS.

Sorry for the OT , but that clip... they don't seriously eject trough the canopy , do they? O_O

Now for a little on topic : I would also like an A6 , while i dont know much about it , it looks like a great little plane for DCS that would fit in well.

Noyt sure what the differences are , but i wouldnt mind an A7 either , that plane looks mighty fine.

I dont think a big bomber like a B2 would fit in in DCS at ALL. That said i'd still buy day 1.

Yep, I'd happily shift my vote from the Pig to the Intruder to further those carrier ops dreams...

Ah, Corsairs, Intruders, Skyhawks and maybe, just maybe a Phantom one day...

I voted earlier for the Bone in this poll, but I do want to question if ED or any 3rd party developers are considering developing any of these?

I wouldn't consider the 111 a bomber, but that makes me want to vote for it all the more! :D

blackjack or B1 - why - theyre large and there are no large planes in dcs jet & they carry a wide range of weapons, especialy guided ag and anti radar rockets. Recent Dcs modules have poor ag capability ( just unguided rockets + bombs ) so when flying multiplayer coop missions there is no real alternative to a10, su25 and ka50. The F111 is ok, but id prefer those large ones simply cause it would be much different from flying those small jets we already have plenty of. btw if it was for the looks only i would choose the vulcan
