karambiatos Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Just learnt from Russian forum that Su27 pfm is moved to Fall, do not expect it during summer. Trans: Term of the Su-27 is moved in the fall. In the near future there will F-86F, and in August the Fw 190 D-9. no, i'm going to go, and cry myself to sleep  A 1000 flights, a 1000 crashes, perfect record. =&arrFilter_pf[gameversion]=&arrFilter_pf[filelang]=&arrFilter_pf[aircraft]=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC"] Check out my random mods and things

Shadowless Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 At least we have some information about the PFM of Su-27 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
blackbelter Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 At least we have some information about the PFM of Su-27 Yeah. That's one hell of a sucky piece of information.
blackbelter Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 But I guess I can understand the logic behind. New modules generate more fund-influx, while Su-27 PFM... not so much...

SDsc0rch Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Yeah. That's one hell of a sucky piece of information. hey.. i'm happy to get ANY information in fact, i wouldn't call it "sucky" -- i'm actually elated - i wasn't "sure" they were going to actually follow-through w/ SU27 PFM ---- now we have written confirmation #happy i7-4790K | Asus Sabertooth Z97 MkI | 16Gb DDR3 | EVGA GTX 980 | TM Warthog | MFG Crosswind | Panasonic TC-58AX800U [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

NeilWillis Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 "He said something along the lines that SU27 PFM is being developed as planned and it might be released in June..but as I said, it wasn't an official statement so.." What is it that's said about plans when making contact with the enemy? Obviously, the same applies to planned releases when exposed to the forum - they never survive contact!!

ED Team NineLine Posted July 4, 2014 ED Team Posted July 4, 2014 That doesn't change the fact that the news is utterly disappointing. I think it just shows their commitment to make the best PFM for the Su-27, their have stated it will manoeuvre like the real world Su-27... we have nothing like that in sim right now... I think this PFM could consist of even more ground breaking FM coding (and I am not talking my landings) Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Raven68 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I'm hoping that for other fighters that will be developed that a lot of the process can be carried over and cut down development time considerably. I know it's not as simple exporting from one and importing into another, but all of us will see the benefit from what they are learning putting the AFM together for the Su-27. ED Team NineLine Posted July 4, 2014 ED Team Posted July 4, 2014 The Su-27 has thrust vectoring? Doesnt it? In real world... (and I am outted as not knowing much about russian modern birds :) ) Isnt that how they do that fancy cobra thingy? :) Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
GGTharos Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 No, it does not. The Some Su-30 variants and the Su-35 does, IIRC. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Raven68 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I think they learn lessons every PFM they do that will help in development... for example, I think this is the first PFM to use thrust vectoring... so I am sure they are learning lots... but this is a layman talking here so take that for what its worth :) And layman is what we need in these conversations. :) Thrust vectoring you say?? ED Team NineLine Posted July 4, 2014 ED Team Posted July 4, 2014 That's just natural Russian Engineering at it's finest! My apologies... Raven68 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 No, it does not. The Some Su-30 variants and the Su-35 does, IIRC. My bad... again.. I like Spitfires :) I didn't think the Su-27 had vectoring nozzle, but if for some reason during the development process this was being used for experimentation then it very encouraging for things to come for future aircraft.
