ff4life4 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Is the F-4 confirmed then? :music_whistling: VEAO has stated previously that they cannot do F14, or F-4 due to restricted info
Python Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 VEAO has stated previously that they cannot do F14, or F-4 due to restricted info If you read the post I quoted, it will make a bit more sense. ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ff4life4 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 If you read the post I quoted, it will make a bit more sense. ;) Gotcha;)
southernrebel Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 i have read all the post and it seems that if the render that pman is showing then they already have the makings of the A-4F and L versions. the A-4C did not have spoilers at all. as for the five hard points , it would not be hard to do. Not all L's if any had spoilers.
southernrebel Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 to further update the Argentina A-4P/Q did have spoilers and 3 hard points. the pic showen earlier is a replaced wing after the embargo lifted after the war years later. Jaz, it is an IFF dome on top of the A-4 P/Q's. nosewheel steering did not show up till the F's. even the L's didnot have nosewheel steering. so i say again, they have tha makings of the f. just need to make sure the nose is long enough.

AFAIK that A-4C pic is took during the war. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
southernrebel Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 my apalagies. Sorry your right. in all my books they say that when sold the a-4 c/p's only had 3 pylins. it seams that they in fact where the outboard wing pylons. http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/a4cargentineskyhawkjf_1.htm learn something new every day.
Stratos Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Pman, why does the serial number near the tail pipe says A-4B 142741 ?? I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
southernrebel Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 i agree, that serial was alotted to A-4B with serieals 142674- 142953 , 280 aircraft in that order
Pman Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Pman, why does the serial number near the tail pipe says A-4B 142741 ?? They are just holding textures, they were used for a different project by Jim and placed on the model just so it had some textures Pman
