Zakatak Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) I personally love how neat, tidy and somewhat minimalist look of the the Eurofighter's cockpit. It's pleasing to look at, all the buttons are well seperated and are easily identifiable by the shape and colors, and I can appreciate the amount of LCD screens as a geek. I do also like not having any buttons on top of the MFD's as well, 20 seems overkill for me and they take up possible screen space. I'd say the F-16 has the nicest canopy since there aren't really any obstructions to be found. The FW-190 is my favorite warbird cockpit, the ergonomic design almost makes it look like a predecessor to modern cockpits. I'm afraid I have to nominate the MiG-23 for the worst, it just looks like a goddamn mess and I'll never appreciate that sickly turquoise color, regardless of whether it can calm the pilot or not. eFirehawk Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Nicest cockpits in my opinion, F-15E and F-117A: I like the F-15E cockpit because it's a nice blend of displays and analog gauges, and they are laid out pretty well. Same goes for the F-117A. And they are squared, another plus for me :) Ugliest cockpit, MIG-21: That layout and old submarine look aren't really something that fit my taste. And now I fly all of sims that way.
