GeorgeLKMT Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 After reading all those landing gear shenanigans, I think the best thing to do will be to postpone the purchase till I get something better than T.16000M :D ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
cichlidfan Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Switch panels built with Helios might be useful as well. UN9249 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 No. Than why some people allready flying and sharing impressions? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mwd2 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 They got a pre-Release Version for Tester and Promotion (aka youtube) Playing: DCS World Intel i7-13700KF, 64GB DDR5 @5600MHz, RTX 4080 ZOTAC Trinity, WIN 11 64Bit Prof. Squadron "Serious Uglies" / Discord-Server: https://discord.gg/2WccwBh Ghost0815

Hans-Joachim Marseille Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) Switch panels built with Helios might be useful as well.Alternatively, one of Leo Bodnar's Joystick controllers; http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=205 (simple version of the BU0836X, without the analog inputs). Add laser-cut panel and switches to that ... DIY build. Only need a good panel layout file for laser cutting. Perhaps Leatherneck could help there? Edited August 17, 2014 by Hans-Joachim Marseille

Mode1961 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I have a Logitech X45 and I think I will be using the built in Macro Language for this addon, which is a good thing, MORE realistic the better. The X45 allows looping and delays, so 1 press could easily do multiple things in the right order.

Having a manual will be a great advantage too! UN9249 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Damn. Am waiting for this from march. A week left from vacation. :'( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Paradox Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Good point. Kinda weird, no? Not really. kind of ordinary for previewers to get things before general consumers do.
xcom Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I think that if this module is moduled as good as the these guys say it is, adding macro programs to do high fidelity procedures is beating the cause kinda. I would go with the high fidelity complications any time of the day. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] BuddySpike Website | Live Map & Statistics BuddySpike Twitch Channel Buddyspike Discord Buddyspike Facebook
ViFF Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) It's just some sloppy writing -- not hebrew. Oh its definitely Hebrew! you can be sure of that. Written in free hand font. In regular Hebrew script it would look like: .עלא אלאערג מ.מ We can't understand what it means because its most likely shortened acronym of something the pilot wanted to remember, and the last two are probably the initials of the pilot who wrote this message (M.M.). Anyhow its a good idea to have that conversion table on an area that is otherwise empty. Please keep it :) Cheers Edited August 17, 2014 by ViFF IAF.ViFF http://www.preflight.us Israel's Combat Flight Sim Community Website
Paradox Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Sure it's not just badly written Cyrillic? My Latin handwriting is awful but my Cyrillic handwriting looks ok. Just a shame I can't spell any words in a Slavic language (or Mongolian I guess)

Please keep it :) Cheers I concede! :D I believe this note was pasted on a Bulgarian aircraft, would be interesting if it was indeed hebrew (the story behind that!) Glad you like it, and yes, it'll remain. Someone on a different forum requested a note-less texture version, and I'll probably upload that at some point after release (also the blank note version that you can write whatever you'd like on). RUS38 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Based on these images, it now looks like a real plane in the unreal DCS world (to me). And this is why I'm getting it as soon as DCS World 2.0 is released. Hope it happens this year. Flying this beast in the old world is just not right. Edited August 18, 2014 by RUS38

Flying this beast in the old world is just not right. What a ridiculous statement. I'll fly this thing in an 8bit TETRIS world if that's what was given to us. :pilotfly:
