Let more people try it... if they are happy with it we can change it.

......this is really a great find jcomm,....as you said personal taste would be key.... being able to adjust it at loadout as Thor mentioned would be good......:-)

I also think it would be great to have it in the loadout menu. Perhaps somewhere away from the other sliders, so it's not adjusted accidently.

so the aircraft does have trim tabs but where setup by ground crews?

cannot adjust them in flight?

Correct, just like many other aircraft, past & present, the Bf109 too for instance, the Fw190 had ground adjustable rudder and aileron trim tabs ( also, I believe, one in the elevator, although the Fw190 also uses a stabilator that can be adjusted by the pilot from the cockpit for pitch trim )

Exactly. Elevator only by pilot.

i made a copy of the file and moved it to the desktop, made the change using note pad, removed the original and saved in documents. put back the copied file.

In my case it was even simpler, since my DCS install is out of the system folders, in a separate partition I always create for the sims...

This way I can always navigate to the folder where the file is, make a backup of it, and edit and modify, then save.

Just an hint: I use Notepad++, a very nice freeware tool.

And back to the value I have used, although I didn't change it further, I believe I would probably change it to -0.016 because there is still a bit too much roll ( left ) under some cruise power settings....
