Jman Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I am also experiencing the same issue, as soon as I join and select a slot everyone that was online disappears and game crashes. I've seen a few people experiencing this same issue, i was able to fly all morning and after noon yesterday but after a restart started experiencing this issue. Have tried doing a continuous ping and experiencing no packet loss. Seems to be only present on buddyspike server. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Yes happened also to a 373vFS member with a low ping so the problem must be somewhere else. It's weird that it happens to some people. Still looking at it. Thanks for the feedback. BSS_Sniper Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 What's going on with the server disconnects this round? It's pretty bad, either single players getting disconnected or mass groups. It varies from 10 min apart to an hour or two. Also, most people seem to have a significant decrease in FPS this round as well. D4n Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Hey buddyspike is it allowed to host the player counter from the gadget website on other websites? Barao Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Sorry, but I'm confused yet, Can I register my squadron here or in Buddy Spike forum? I see people registering here, but the instructions are to register in Buddy Spike site. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk I wonder why you keep posting only negative comments but you are still here posting all the time :music_whistling: The round started one week ago, with players fighting each day. We try to resolve the issue that a number of players face (connection timeout). Since Thursday we have a progress there with less connection timeouts. The issue is still there though. As mentioned before, registration is optional and you can register in our website (www.buddyspike.net). The reason is to get access to the teams forums. There anyone of the teams can post about strategy etc. Otherwise you can just jump right into the server and write "red" or "blue" before selecting a slot. After that you will be "registered" to that specific side for the round. So to say that a team can even switch sides throughout the campaign? It's just that I was accustomed to the online campaigns of IL-2, which took place between 2000 and 2005. After that I never flew on simulators. Dell U2715H 27" IPS 2560x1440 / 60 Hz; Ryzen 7 7700x; 32gb DDR5 6400; B650M Aorus Pro; Water Cooler Arctic liquid freezer II 280

Once you have picked a side on the server by typting red/blue in "all chat", only the admins can change your coalition, and you would need to request that either here or in the existing thread on buddyspike.net [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "DCS World is the main public build, it has nothing to do with being stable" -Bignewy

Greg I'm still posting because I still think blueflag has potential than what it is so I continue to offer my feedback into the events and the stuff in the background. That's good if you've cut down on the disconnects. Glad to hear. But they're still happening so wither that's just due to the complexity of a mission or its just in EDs hands we'll have to find out. I'm probably one of your biggest supporters and I'm constantly sending people to check the forums out and get online. From Rd1 it's kinda gotten a little too big for its crib is what I'm saying. For the complexity of such an event I see only two options. 1 cut down the mission file and simplify the script. 2 Player limit or closed registration. Thus I know is probably not an option but seeing all of the people just connecting and flying not on ts or on srs and then again with some launching aim9 at 50nm....it's probably time to start either restricting the registration or completely reorganize the process and keep tabs on registered players online comminucating vs those just joining a Non password protected server. Never before Blueflag has DCS mp been so enjoyable, rewarding, engaging and importantly co-operative between all levels of players. This is what I think you're not grasping, BF is available to all and anyone however they wish to approach it. To bring this down to a play my way or no way is to close down the availability to those that know no better, the new guys, the part time players any future DCS that wants to try DCS mp. Blue Flag is the current standard bearer for what makes multiplayer actually worthwhile, it's the ultimate mp lure that covers all modules, so much so that ED should be handing out medals and freebies to the Buddyspike team for the amazing promotion they do for this sim. It's not impossible to have both sides of the coin, and i'm sure we will, but for now it shouldn't be that we remove such freedom to all just to have the other. "[51☭] FROSTIE" #55 'Red 5'. Frostie Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 With respect to player count how about doubling AI aircraft globally if one coalition has only 2 and the other more than 10 and triple if over 15. I say globally as it won't matter to the 2 man coalition, they're surely not going to attack. Also what about removing Songalung from the AI aircraft respawn, this would reduce the 6 ship of F-16s taking off from that area down to a more acceptable 4 ship. Attacking this area is extremely tough with even a lot of players against very few. I'd say right now to attack it requires 16v4 just to achieve parity and let ability and luck decide.
