Can I also suggest that for the next iteration, we keep the RvB squadrons assigned but swap sides, i.e. currently BLUFOR pilots fly Russian and current REDFOR pilots fly Eagles? MUCH FUN!

First day that I was able to fly for more than just 30minutes and what can I say?

What a beauuuutiful and great mission, this is pure fun!

Some questions and wishes:

- I attacked some ground targets, but they were respawned after about 25 minutes - was this a real respawn or did someone of the enemy sent in reinforcements? A respawn is a bit too fast I think

- Flying an A10 takes some time....and god, it takes fuel! I barely made it back with 0.1 left after touchdown - do you thought about adding some tankers? Might be fun killing enemy tankers as well ;)

- Wheather - is or will this be included? I know about a possible time change, but wheather would be great as well.

Please keep on doing your already amazing job, in my opinion this operation is exactly the first big step this community needs!

Different weather and a cloudy sky give the server to much trouble - lets wait for 1.5!

As for cheating/rules, meh, i've seen several nukes, SU27's bombing farps, moving units across the map, into houses and glitching, tac commanders destroying bases, side switching and actually, it's not that bad and hasn't ever affected any operations except a little "Hunt the hidden BRD" which only takes time.

as i can see its doesnt help red team, so maybe we remove this clause from the rules? :)

These events as you say "force" everybody in a good way to deal with strategies and tactics that would be not necessary in other occasions.

^^ This !

Noobs and Lonewolves NEEDS to fly with us.

This is a serious matter and from experience, any leisure/activity need to have a "bridge" between socialized teams and lonewolfs/noobs. that's a basis for activity growth.

This make people fells more confortable about the community, flying with squadrons, and eventually leading some to join/create groups.

Leave the people outside our world and flight simulator will never get more popular.

Or just wait until they go to bed.

Red really need some American pilots, at the moment it's Europe (Red) vs Europe and America (Blue).

The difference in this battle is now down to a good Blue contingent consistently present whilst Red don't have the pilots to fill the hours giving Blue a free run, I don't see Blue taking land when the sides are close it's usually Red doing the pushing. Blue only take it back and some when Red sleep.

I checked in last night about 0700 Z and there were 4 players in the server...all Red doing work with Helis. Hopefully they got some ground back for ya.

Someone that have access to the campaign server should grab the server track files a soon as they are produced and replay them to get a Tacview file to publish. In that way all players can file their complains on other players easy by referring to mission date/time/player. I have a online Tacview exporter standing ready if you need it, just say the word :)

Careful... This might expose Squadron tactics that people might not want sharing. There's a reason TacView export is disabled no the server, although I think 75% of us probably know how to evade the block!

Does not protect anything at all! Just makes it impossible to look at the current setting before joining the server. A simple replay of your own track file will reveal all tactics used when you were active on the server.

Even better, enable object export.

OK so you think it's fair that just 75% of the players know how to get intel on the mission status? That's awesomely fair I would say :music_whistling:

Really, the fair thing to do is to open it up so it's not just the ones bending the realism that have access to the mission status. But then again it is really simple, just join the server for a minute or two and disconnect. Replay the track and look at the Tacview file that will be produced. So there, now its even 90% that know how to check status.

It's disabled to people can't view the situation in real time* on another monitor

*Knowing where all players are.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

We capped Beslan and Nalchik just before the recent (01:45 BST) server restart (we even had Frogfoots flying out of it) and now after the restart it's gone back to saying they're Red?? What's going on here?
