ED Team Raptor9 Posted August 31, 2015 ED Team Share Posted August 31, 2015 Very concise summary of important things to know and keep in mind. Definitely less intimidating for newcomers than reading the whole manual. Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. Flycat
So is this the secondary one? The first guide I remembered it's mig-21. And thank you Chuck. QuiGon
Nicely done! I really appreciate it  Just one little mistake I spotted: On page 62 in the HMS part you forgot to finish a sentence: "The HMS allows the SHKVAL to track where your helmet is facing. This is useful if you". ;) Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! Buzzles
Nice handy guide, will be referencing that next time I take the Ka-50 out. There's a small error on page 27, the top left tool tip says "Weapons Control System Power UP = ON" when it should say something about the main hydraulic system and that Down = On. dburne
Awesome, thanks so much Chuck! I have been debating what to spend my time flying in this upcoming off season for me, and already owning BS2 and seeing this excellent guide has convinced me this needs to be at least one of them. Love how you have layed out controls for the Warthog as well, I am going to need to set up a profile for mine as I did not own the Warthog the last time I was flying the sim, and this will help immensely in where I put things! Many thanks, I will be putting this guide to good use! fastfreddie
Good work. Recently started to fly the Blackshark after about a 5 year absence and still getting the attack runs down. Nothing like going along killing everything in sight when a Manpad behind a building or that SAM site you didn't see ends your fun. Hopefully they get 1.5 stable with the single players because at the moment ... it crashes too often.

Charly_Owl
Awesome, thanks so much Chuck! I have been debating what to spend my time flying in this upcoming off season for me, and already owning BS2 and seeing this excellent guide has convinced me this needs to be at least one of them. Glad it was of some help. BS2 being one of the older modules, it is great that there is good single player content available for it already. The Georgian Oil War campaigns and Operation Medvedev II are quite enjoyable in my experience.
