Hats of to that RAZBAM, but the rest... regarding prefromance... (not using those words here...) RAZBAM, fix this ASAP. Sure they are looking into this by now! Regards Per

mmaclauchlan Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I'm seeing zero performance drop in VR using a 1060GTX, so this isn't an "across the board" issue. Mags Quest 2, VKB controls, MFG Crosswinds
buspelle Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 ...suspected, Yes. True maybe, but not as worse as this...
sze5003 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Early Access..expect performance issues. Not all of us had the same systems that was used to test. Wondering how it will do on my 1080Ti. I wouldn't mind if it actually worked but it's unplayable atm.

I expect it to work, I don't mind half the features missing. And it seems I do need to download the beta client so there's your beta testing. Also, I don't need a lecture, thanks.

Runibl Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Is this in VR? No. We have not experienced that. It is hard to help without being able to replicate the problem. Not VR. Instant mission cold and dark. Settings: what I have used until now with around 50-60fps on all other aircraft Cockpit: 23fps External: 60fps I think I may have gotten it usable again, by reducing the settings a bit (View distance, trees and grass). I will have to try it out a bit before I am sure though. Still stuttering when looking around with mouse/keyboard, haven't tried with trackir yet. But still, other aircraft stay at around 60fps both external and internal, with previous extreme settings and not stuttering. So hopefully this will be improved in the future. Runi. miks Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Then dont Pre-Purchase and download knowing it's Early Access. Look, I’m not of those hater trolls who likes to whine and complain about the slightest things. I’ve participated in numerous prerelease/early access software products and I like to contribute and help with my comments. But DCS as a whole has a track record of flimsy, to put is mildly, early releases. I only wanted to express my frustration and I immediately get jumped by you and other defenders with the classic line “well if you didn’t want this then don’t participate in it”. I apologize for expressing my opinion and promise to keep my frustrations to myself from now on... 1

I have a rift but it is disconnected because it is not ideal for development purposes.
