The explosions seem to have two "stages", the old effect and the new one. I think someone here can explain better, but the explosion itself isn't a new effect.

It's already working, well kinda. Controls aren't synchronized properly in the current versions (2.0 & 1.5). I'm looking forward to testing it out tonight

Of course. You can already take rides in the backseat with another player flying - it's been this way since release. But there were always problems with synchronization. For example: If the player controlling the aircraft puts the landing gear down the other player won't see that and vice versa.

Well when it comes available on steam, there is always the possibility Steam will get its own sales, and bundles, but as its Alpha right now, and only for the standalone, its not possible.
