Also, eager to know if a tip/section of SE england has been included:) For me the pre-invasion strikes are some of the most interesting, and that would open up a LOT of campaign/missipn scenarios:)

I tell you what. With these wonderful updates going into 2.5 bringing this kind of detail out. I would not be surprised if the DCS: WWII series becomes more popular than modern combat!!

Can I fly my A-10 in this map? :D

From my understanding all modules will be available for any map. Hopefully there is a paved runway to take off and/or land the hog. :D

Racoon,

Would you be able to tell us what date the Normandy map is being built around? Just wondering which of the ALGs might be included and at what point of the invasion it has been constructed around. I don't recall seeing that information anywhere yet. This would help us plan ahead and give us an idea of what to expect. Missions take some time to create so it would be nice to start forming some ideas and let the creativity start flowing. :) I understand if it has not all been decided yet.

Also, have trains in Normandy been confirmed?

Not sure about original idea, but for the moment we have few dozen airfields across Normandy. Most of them are ALGs built during june-july 1944.

Yes, we have trains.

Why? It's not some some high-fashion fighter diva like the F-15 or F-22. The Hawg can play it dirty and take a beating :D
