After the patch no IAB control box in cocpit.

The bomb can be attached with the help of the ground staff and then the IAB control box appears. From the mission editor to do now is impossible.(

I love this beautiful aircraft. Please return me the nuclear bomb.

Well, some tuning has happened, but I'm not sure everything is OK. During excessive stall attempt with stick full back, the plane still gets "locked" at some AoA while not showing roll tendency. If flown level with throttle set to min, when AoA pointer on UUA goes into red range, the plane looses lift rapidly and drops like a rock in this "locked" altitude. At the same time, the negative acceleration is long enough to always cause engine flameout, and this is another thing that feels odd. One cannot practice spins because of that, unless spin entry is done with stick halfway back (UUA needle still in yellow range).

Some say it's still possible to maintain altitude in this "locked" flight if AB is on, but I haven't tested that (though Pirke's youtube clips in the "crazy Egyptian maneuver" thread suggests that might be the case).

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Look 2 posts above in the ED change-log thread. I have forgotten to commit art fixes in the 1.5.4 server for Update 5.

Do these changes effect Black/Green/Gray cockpit mods?

It shouldn't. Everything I did has been on the external model.

Is a big problem for developers measure (improve) the external sound of the airplane? This topic seems to be utopia :music_whistling:

I have replied to you on this topic several times. We'll implement these when we are able.

The update affects external cockpit mods (for example no texture on tyres) because some files were changed and new ones added. These files are located in the MiG-21Bis_Base.zip so you just need to add new files from the update and all works again :)

Does DCS crash for anyone after the last update on MP when selecting the 21 ?

For me it crashes DCS , so have to select another aircraft first and then I can switch to the 21. Not using any mods except the view lua script because of a low end system

The MiG-21 has been somewhat unplayable for a while (1-2fps in cockpit using radar in MP, clients disconnecting) I still have it with the latest patch. I hope to fly MiG-21 MP again in 1.5.5 but I am not sure they have managed to track down the issue of these bugs. Fingers crossed.

yeah the radar keeps crashing my client, and slide-show fps for me too.
