I thought Id try to edit some uwv files. I clicked the checkbox  in the settings dialog and Simshaker created a bunch of files in a dedicated folder. I then went to start uwv editor and got an error dialog - unhandled exception

I would start with see if I have her locked. Is deleting her an option? (with backup of course)

If it's locked, SSA can not add the F1 parts to that file...

Update from my previous post after Applying latest 2.4.2 beta release:

  • Mirage F1 AB effect is working exactly as intended by @f4l0.  Also thanks to the post 12 hours previously I noticed that the SimShaker.lua did not Update. (Certainly because the original date and time stamp was changed from a UH-60 Update that I also did) 
    • Workaround was to delete "my-edited" SimShaker.lua and run the SimShaker for Aviators Beta Installer v2.4.2.msi again. After Selecting Repair SimShaker for Aviators Beta on my system the correct date time stamp is now 8/13/2022 6:06 AM. Success! 

New Comment from more closely observing Flaps Movement after the last update and repair:

  • Clearly there is output when "flaps" are initially in motion. However, if you use an external view, the SimShaker output is technically happening when the Mirage F1 forward leading edge slats are moving not the flaps.  - this is incredibly minor and I would never have noticed it if I had not ventured out with F2 view.. lol

SSA can't find the file to run. I think the file UWVEditor was stolen by Windows Defender or by something like that. Try to get it back from a quarantine.

I understand that there is a New SimShaker update for download but I am unable to get it... when I click the pop up message to take me to the file I am getting a One Drive Error 103 code and unsure why... is it me or is the link to the Onedrive share corrupt?

 

Update... it doesn tlike Firefox as just gone straight to the file using Edge....

Looks like a little SSA bug.

I guess you can anyway run the file directly if you need it. Or you can use the latest one from SimShaker Wings package.

Good question:

All I could find was when ShimShaker for Aviators is installed: You can go to >> Help  >> Changelog.

From there you well see a list of all changes from 2.4.3 to 2.4.0.

How I launch Simshaker
Start beta Simshaker Module (version 2.29) no error.
Start Simshaker for Aviators beta (version 2.4.3) minimized.
Click Start Simshaker and it opens and this error pops up

Just do not start the SimShaker Sound Module manually. Skip step 1 in your sequence. SimShaker for Aviators launches is automatically in your case.

Are will still needing to edit the lua for the UH60 after this update?

I had moved the SSA shortcut off of my desktop and onto a toolbar(folder). But SSA complained that it could not find the desktop shortcut. And after posting that problem to Andre I have moved the shortcut back to my desktop. But now I keep getting the attached message ever time I start SSA.

So just had a weird failure for my Jetseat/simshaker. Its no longer being recognized as a USB device. I can plug it in but it then fails (Device Descriptor Request Failed). Is there a fix for this? Honestly I think its happened before to me a year or two back. 

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

I think, that may be a known issue.

Please try to reload the Gametrix control unit firmware as described in the User Guide https://simshaker.com/guides/jetpad

What is the best way to add the OV10 mod to simshaker? Since it has dual props, I am guessing its most like the Mossie. I just dont know the specific steps to get simshaker to think the OV10 is a mossie
