lolwut845 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 I wish it lasted longer ! Just finished the campaign, and I loved it ! I loved the immersion, the French accents (ok it's a biased opinion, I'm French), the increasing difficulty which was not unbearable in the end, and even if I experienced a few quirks here and there (mostly because of my lack of radio discipline) this campaign is top notch. Thanks for the great work, and I can't wait for Red Flag  i7 4790K, 1080ti, oculus quest+link, winwing f18 hotas, MFG crosswind custom AB2 pit
cobragva Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Hi Baltic, I am not good at refueling ...and i see you are too :-) . Why to you make it absolutely necessary early in your campaign ? I like the fact that I force me to train but I would appreciate a radio option where at some stage I can continue the mission without refueling because now, I am stuck on the campaign and I guess, i simply might not even continue it due to that issue.

In mission 3? The option exists, at some point you are normally told "New radio item available (F10) Inform when you are ready to move on after tanking". Tanking is not mandatory - I would never have passed this point otherwise :D 1 System specs: Win7 x64 | CPU: i7-4770K | RAM: 16 GB | GPU: GTX 980 Ti 6 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS | MFG rudder pedals | SATA3 SSD | TrackIR

I will do it again
baltic_dragon Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 Yep, as Redglyph says - it is not mandatory, it is there to train. I'd never make it mandatory, as then I wouldn't progress anywhere myself ;) just check F10 and inform Berger that you are good to move on whenever you feel like it! skiboss Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) Superb campaign! Just wanted to leave my heartfelt thanks BD. You have a natural talent for this kind of work mate and I look forward to more from you. This really helped me to learn this jet and my only wish at the end was for more missions! 10/10 Dziękuję! :D Edited March 13, 2017 by skiboss Discord - Psycho#8075

iAnders Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Finished the campaign last night, what a nice experience indeed. I found the difficulty level just perfect, not overwhelmingly many tasks for each mission. The later combat missions was tense but again very manageable, good balance. The supplied briefings is perfect for VR, simple to get coordinates and radio frequencies from the kneeboard. Thank you for making this! All the triggers etc worked too, did not have any problems with not progressing in the missions, well done:-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PB0_corse66 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) Just finished the campaign. Good lord it was gorgeous ;) My plane after the latest mission :) So to summarize it : Well it's a Baltic Dragon campaign which implies (no pressure :p) - Academy award voice over. - Various types of missions - Good choice / Realistic choice of scenario - Very few bugs / issues in the missions Summary : Top experience as good as the Enemy within campaign Experience This campaign is a little bit easier than Enemy witihin which is normal since it's a training squadron but it's really top to discover the Mirage 2000. I recommend it 250% :) Big congratulations to Baltic Dragon and Razbam, as well as the various voice overs people :) Edited March 13, 2017 by PB0_corse66
Ramsay Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 I'm enjoying the campaign, I'm only up to Mission 6. A suggestion for future campaigns/updates - a F10 Other "Say again" radio call to repeat the last message. On the first play through - I've found some of the longer messages hard to understand and by the time I'm sure I've understood the first part, the rest has disappeared. In RL I'd say "Say again" or "Repeat from ...", if I wasn't certain. It's not such an issue on 2nd and subsequent mission play through, as by then, I've understood it's context, what action is expected and which parts are salient. Note: the message audio and text might not be wholly appropriate i.e. 5 min after the last call, the IP has left area, etc. - so perhaps save the message text to a temporary buffer and display that when requested ? i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440
baltic_dragon Posted July 11, 2017 Author Posted July 11, 2017 Hey! Glad you're enjoying the campaign. I am trying to utilize the "repeat" system as much as I can in the campaigns I am working on - especially the training one for A-10, during combat sorties there is less need to repeat anything other than coordinates. The problem is that adding repeat triggers in many places is pretty time consuming (each action requires several additions in the ME - to add option, to use it, then to remove it if it was used OR remove it if it wasn't used)... though I agree it would add a lot to realism. I'll think about it. Let me know what you think once you finish the campaign! For more information, please visit my website. AMEDooley Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Baltic, well done indeed. I finished the campaign yesterday and it was a ton of fun. I really enjoyed the Air to Air missions the most. Although the last mission felt awesome and I love that you let it end with a bit of a cliffhanger. Keep up the amazing work and hurry with more Mirage campaigns! I look forward to them. Sylosis Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Hey I thought I give my feedback on the Campaign as well. I really wanted to post it here, because I really, really loved your Campaign. The fact that you spent the time to make use feel like a real pilot in a real "war" with real wingmen, etc, with all the radio chat, etc etc... is what I think makes your campaign stand out. It really has a big "Role Playing" element to it. You created a scenario that evolves as the missions pass, plus the voice acting that I already mentioned. All of it really immerses you. As a comparison, I started the A10C campaign and it really isn't that well done. I'm not saying it is bad, just that your Mirage campaign really stand out. If you have other campaigns coming out and if you keep the same kind of quality in your work, I'm most definitely buying them. You are talking about the Enemy Within campaign for A-10 or the stock one? As for the future projects, there will be a F-15C campaign out soon, similar to Mirage campaign (you will even find some subtle links to it), and there is another M-2000C one - Red Flag - in the making, which I think is at another level compared to the stock M-2000 campaign. So there are things coming soon! For more information, please visit my website. If you want to reach me with a bug report, feedback or a question, it is best to do this via my Discord channel. Gandalf_56 Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 (edited) Hi Baltic Dragon What can we say about you campaign? An amazing piece of work my friend. We have flown in MP with my squadron mates and we have run all the missions without any issue. I have touched the slots just to add until 4 clients including the plane (flown by me) in charge to contact the IP, WL or WM. Reading all the bugs suffered by other pilots we are very fortunate to get the campaign finished without major problems. Really we enjoy a lot the adventures of the French instructors and the story plot. Once again thank you for those 13 missions.!!!!! If someone is interested and want take a look at or watch some pictures of the missions, we have posted in our squadron forum all the briefings translated into Spanish and all mission debriefings (some debs have the complete video recorded by one of our mates) The direct link to the topic is: Link to the Condor forum - Baltic Dragon campaign for M2000 Edited August 2, 2017 by Gandalf_56 http://www.ecv56condor.com.ar ECV56 Condor - Discord Channel
Neurowork Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Slow IP I'm having a problem with the campaign in 1.5.7. In mission 1, when I rejoin the IP after takeoff, he is flying really really slow, like 140kts. It is only me or is it something to be fixed with the latest version ? Thanks for your help. Yurgon Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 In mission 1, when I rejoin the IP after takeoff, he is flying really really slow, like 140kts. I think that's a common problem in 1.5.7, hopefully it'll be fixed soon. If you really want to continue with the campaign, it might be worth downgrading to the latest 1.5.6.

Gandalf_56 Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 as there is a common bug with Radio Transmissions in MP, where in most cases only the host will hear them. Perhaps the trick is to add clients as an individual flights and not as a part of the same flight group. Actually not only the clients could hear the audio from different groups but they can read the texts in the screen (for a shorter time that the host but they could be read) http://www.ecv56condor.com.ar ECV56 Condor - Discord Channel
