I don't know if the dev's of Belsimtek read this, But I have to give them my compliments on the WingFlex effect on the F5.

It looks great during taxi, specially with Sidewinders attached, it gives the right effect for sturdy but also flexible fighter wings ..very realistic

When you fly low, fast and steady, the wing even reacts on turbulence in a great way.

Also Aileron movement gives a bending reaction on the wing.

The way the wing bends is also effected bij de load on and under it...really great simulation.

The F5 already is a great product, and I think the wing flex makes it even more great !!

Good show Belsimtek..:worthy:

F-5E uses more than simply Wing Flex +/-

There's separate animations for flex and twist.

I always loved flying the F5, with the wing flex i CANT STOP flying the F5. It adds a level of realism and visual tactile feel (if thats a thing? lol) that i can't get enough of

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]1000 miles of road will take you around town, a 1000 feet of runway can take you around the world...unless your in a Huey, you can go anywhere with no runway in a Huey!

Not to take it away from BST, but afaik, they've only implemented a feature ED added to the core sim ages ago.

The Su-27 (ED) has had it for ages, and BST added to the F-86 early year iirc.

Sorry..had to say.."the way the wing flexes" .

I know wing flex was added earlier, it is just that the way it is presented with the F5 is way more natural.

As mentioned...there is a twist effect added, i think this makes the difference.

look at it during taxi, and during flight when pulling some G's.

you can almost feel the strain on the wing's :D

I like the idea of wing shake but by judging from this video (I don't own the module yet) it seems way too pronounced on the F-5. You can see it start at 2:15.

I wonder if the wingtips visibly shake when the aircraft is buffeting in real life.

I know the tails on the F-15/18 flap in the breeze during high G + high AoA maneuvers... so much so it's actually visible from the ground!

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

Nice. Thanks for clearing that up for me Todd.

Don't feel alone. Until a couple of years ago our prime minister was signing off his emails with lol thinking it meant lots of love. He's gone now :)
