Introducing the VPC MongoosT-50

Someone already mentioned VR, and accordingly to it would be good to have switches (which are in a row next to each other) at the touch of feel something different, or that they may be placed on top some rubber/plastic caps - declutter.

1. Afterburner detents

2. Lift idle/cutoff

3. Ministick, like on CH throttle but centers nicely!

1. Throttle friction adjust

Toggle switches, the ones on the mock up look like the cheap style that snap off??

Labeling panels, it looks like you have them on there.

 

How far is the travel on the throttle? looks shorter than the warthog. Not that it's a criticism, just wondering.

 

It looks amazing though, I can't wait to see the final product!

Looks nice - can't comment too much on what I want on the base, as I like as many buttons as possible at my fingertips.

 

It does look promising, though, looking forward to it's release. I may have to hold out for that one.

Lift cutoff idle detent for me.

 

None of that... go with finger lifts! I don't know of any jets with throttles shaped as shown that are lifted over gates. The F-16 does that, but it's hinged rather than lifted. Finger lifts are much more ergonomic

I certainly wouldnt argue either way but its a lot easier to buiild it with a lift gate and works.T-38 had finger lifts but only because they didnt trust us to not lift the throttle through the gate by accident :)

On the flight stick does the 1st trigger (grey one) register as seperate buttons in the up and down position ?

Would be usefull for flipping up the large trigger on the KA50

The folding trigger doesn't register as a separate button in the up position.

I guess 8 axis (Windows limit):

 

2 - Throttles

1 - "Antena"

2 - "TDC"

1 - "T" lever on right side

2 - "Rotaries".

 

The other 2 knobs are encoder.

 

Is said in IL-2 forum that lilac square buttons caps are removable, but not backlight.

 

 

 

I'm seconding this. I kept my x65f throttle and only got a Warthog flight stick because the rotaries are very convenient when flying other planes that the A-10

Quick question. Can you verify that existing Warthog Extensions will work with the grip and also I would assume the base as well. I cannot imagine a reason an extension that works currently on a WTH would not work with Virpil as well from all appearances. However perhaps you could validate that.

The VPC MongoosT-50 grip with our TMW adapter should work no problem with existing TMW extensions.
