Ok since the forums dimming down since the weekend I can post this poll I had on my head since last week.

The question is simple. ED is to make a new SIM after the one that is in the horizon after Black shark wich is oriented torwards dedicated AG aircraft.

This new SIM as it has been annouced, will feature mainly 2 multirole aircaft (possibly more in addons), one russian and another western. Supposedly they will be Mig-29M/F-16C.

But much is in the air so it would be a nice thing to see what combo of aircraft the public preferrs.

Dont forget to mention your choice of aircraft explaining the reason for their balance in the game.

EDIT: the options with the Ommited F-16 variant referrs to F-16C

There arent any french manuals avaiable, they are very protective about it. All aircraft I mentioned ED has, or can aquire the respective manuals.

If Any unnusual aircraft is your preferrence then you can choose between the options 5 and 7. (mig-27 comes as close to the 23 as you could get)

The vietnam Aircraft do not fit into ED's aspiration since their marketing keeps a door open for modern aircraft desktop trainers for the military. Besides Vietnam Era has been recently featured in more than 1 game. Its been nearly a decade since the F-16 or F-18 have been featured in a study SIM. Its been even longer for the harrier (and never modern versions with AMRAAM capability).

F-15E was last seen in janes Simulations nearly 10 years ago and has never been simulated realisticaly in any other title.

Mig-21-93 and Jaguar have never been done before.

I chose the F-18 / MiG-29K variant, with possible F-15C / Su-27 addon, because then we will have both land- and sea-based aircraft, which all quite match to each other.

But if I'd have a say in things (which I don't) I'd try to implement the MiG-29M-OVT and / or the Su-30MKI.

The AFM should be able to model TVC, and data should be already available (or obtainable).

The MiG-29OVT is just an M upgraded with RD-33OVT engines (only one switch added in the cockpit), and the Su-30MKI is in service in India.

Main reason for these two: they're my favourites :)

So would I! But then I would have to include other aircraft like the Gripen to balance them. None of these gives ED a realistic chance of getting their respective manuals.

Welll Im making a statistical tool for guessing Euromillions Lottery numbers, and one thing I already noticed is that with so few data avaiable like this, its not statisticaly representative yet. :D

Im waiting on someone to come and vote for the Su-47 vs F/A-22.

BTW I voted F/A-18 vs Mig-29K. That way I can fine tune the art of bombing my enemies out of the sky at mach 1.

I wouldn't mind taking another shot at a JSF F35 simulation. Now that the contract has been won, the platform can be more specific.

Probably a little too early to ask for one of those though huh?

A guy can dream can't he?

I second this! Airplanes and theatre are old enough so that all important information is available. Yet, we would have radar guided and heat seeking missiles available.

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

I had no A-10 options!

Thats because its already featured in the next SIM thats already being worked on. The Game Im talking about is to be made after that.

ED announced "tank killers" wich will include the A-10 among others. This poll is for "istribitlle" or "fighter" wich is a seperate SIM and will feature multirole jets.

Unfortunatly thats not an option. :D
That is your problem not mine. :music_whistling:

select the best among the above. :)
I did not vote because you did not provide option I would vote for. :pilotfly:

The F/A-18 vs. MiG-29K add-on with F-15C vs. Su-27 for me. Multi-role naval jets with the two most popular fighters for A/A work is a winning combination IMO.

Just make sure the Su-27 is the -SM variant.

Same here! Especially the 27SM-point!! In my eyes the F-16 was simulated often enough so we don't really ned it the xx-time. I often asked myself why in LockOn there have been chosen single-role-planes (I know the Mig and Su cann carry bombs, but thats simply not the same as guided A/G-weapons). So F-15C/E vs Su-27SM/30 would be a great combo and to keep the naval-ops point in view the Mig-29K vs F-18 would accomplish the whole thing. Can't wait for that SIM including points like AFM for all flyables, deep-simulated avionics (similar to Falcon) and maybe a non-scripted cobra-maneuver ;) .
