Rudel_chw Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I feel the same ... the Viggen and the F-5 are my favorite DCS aircraft, and I have all of them .. cant wait to see the F-14 :D For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
sven3d3 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Same here. It's great to fly the Viggen. It's my first clickable cockpit and the best choice I could have made!
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Seriously, an ACTUAL Viggen in detail. If you told me that was going to happen at some point back in the 90s? I would've laughed and died a little on the inside. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
QuiGon Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I'm also really enjoying the Viggen. Thank you Heatblur! Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

funkyfranky Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 I simply must add myself to this list! The Viggen is a piece of art. I love all DCS aircraft for different reasons. But this one quickly became my favorite :) Thank you, Heatblur! Panzerfan Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 It's easily one of the best modules out there. Racing under powerlines with Mach 0.8 just never gets old
Cibit Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 (edited) I will just add my thanks here too. A simply georgeous plane. I drive a SAAB 93 and some of the style and cockpit layout seems to have been replicated in the Viggen-or vice versa. Also being a child of the 60's the controls, knobs and switches are more comfortable and familiar than the updated avionics of the playstation generation. Especially the flight computer;) Edited May 13, 2017 by Cibit i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
amalahama Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 (edited) A bit late to the party, but I can't miss it, THANK YOU for the high quility model you brought, the more I learn about the Viggen avionics, the more I love the aircraft! It's so refreshing to finally have an aircraft so different to the traditional NATO/WARPAC assets, it's the first time I have to start really with the basics! I love it! I have to say, I hope after the Tomcat, you keep modelling more "weirdos". It's unfortunate that the classic F-XX or SU/MIG-XX have more public, hence being more logical from a business point of view. But I think I'm not the only one who gets excited hearing news of something as exotic as a Viggen or a M2000 being developed for our favorite Sim. Keep up the good work! Pocket Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 What all the other guys said. As a former JA37 ground crew member this module really takes me back to the glory days of this aircraft! Love it!
Weegie Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 What they all said Probably my all time fave aircraft, could not believe it was coming to DCS It has NOT disappointed
-IRRE-Rolluptito Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Well, for me it's the best plane made in DCS so far. Awesome sounds, graphics, very good sensations, really original to fly... It will for sure take the status of masterpiece when fully completed. :smilewink: 1 Owned modules: P-47 | P-51D | Spitfire MkIX | I-16 | Bf 109 K-4 | Fw190 D-9 | Fw190 A-8 | Yak-52 | MiG-15 | F-86F | C-101 | A-10C | AJS-37 | L-39 | F-5E | Mirage F1 | M-2000C | MiG-21bis | F-4E | F-14 | AV-8B | F/A-18C | F-16C | Ka-50 | SA342 | UH-1H | Mi-8MTV2.
