Had the same issue after many unfortunate attempts to log in.

 

I finally managed to log in but no update available.

 

I had to go to start menu => Eagle Dynamic => Update DCS World Open Beta

 

And it worked.

 

Roger that, I launched the updater from the command line and it is downloading now, thanks for the info.

Updated successfully, but DCS won't start:

 

 

"The code execution cannot proceed because WorldGeneral.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

 

 

I did a repair, but no joy.

 

Rolling back to previous version and trying to update again.

 

 

Anyone with same problem?

Yes, I do have the same issue. Apparently, my antivirus has deleted the file Worldgeneral.dll and wRadio.dll because it has detected this inside : VHO.HackTool.Win32.inject.gen.

Is it only torrent now with no direct download ability anymore?

 

I used to get slow speeds with the torrent and switch to direct download that came down at an appropriate speed. Now though I'm downloading at 40 kb/s on a 112 mb/s connection and when I hit cancel it exits the entire download process, instead of switching me to direct download....

OK this OB update is a little anti-climax for me, i can't start DCS anymore. I did the update, run a repair afterwards and got "Step 1" if i try to run DCS, after that "Step 2" did a repair again "Step 3" and get message "Step 5" after that. I did a resart of my PC, tried the Reapir 4 times now, Update is telling me i am on the latest version. I'm running out of ideas....:music_whistling:

 

DCS is not generating any form of log, crash or dmp file at all

Most likely a false positive but I have made the team aware.

 

Likely due to new DCS protection, white-listing may help

Yes

 

you need to wait for the deltas to dl and unpack before hitting cancel. For me at least the direct download is currently no faster and perhaps slower though probably due to the demand.

 

Time to crack out a box set.

My anti-virus software is deleting the "WorldGenerall.dll". If i deactivate my AV software and run a repair the missing file is there, if i run a check of the DCS folder the file is still there and my AV software doesn't find anything, as soon as i start DCS i see the same error message and my AV software deleted the file again. Very strange, never had that with DCS and my AV software before.

Every day I go into DCS update utility by Skatezilla and I try to update to

the new carrier. Well I also check DCS World on Youtube as I know plenty

of people will upload new stuff on updates, especially the new carrier.

 

 

I am at 664 of 2303 megs right now, and I have looked at forums

for news, and I will have to wait and see whats up.

That is only the first update, a much bigger one is coming after that :D , size depending on the maps you own.

Dunno, on my account they all have keys and listed as "StarForce":

 

 

If you look at any of the product pages under 'Buy', you'll see they say 'Keyless Product'.

 

I think I see what's happening. Purchases made through 'Distributors' rather than 'DCS E-shop' are, in general, showing the wrong info. Only exceptions are FC3, BS2 and A-10C which, I guess haven't bene updated yet.

What happened with the FPS in the Hornet 1989 : Taskforce Challenger Campaign?

You are kidding me: From stable 40 FPS on the stennis with my Rift S to 28 FPS with the 2.5.6 Version, sometimes only 20 FPS.

Same Hardware, same Settings, same Campaign, same Mission:
