I think we'll be seeing the harrier very soon as Razbam are now regularly teasing us with shots like this etc, Q3 ends in September and prowler said they're on time so I'd expect it this month or next. b941c485e2ddb6f2b543b062c00c01d6.jpg

However long it takes, and even if it isn't feature complete, bring it on! A good quality VSTOL capable airframe will be hours and hours of fun. I've already upped my virtual life insurance (put my pilot log on invulnerable)! My virtual fire crews have also ordered more virtual fire retardant foam and cancelled all their leave.

Haha it's going to be really refreshing for the game and I can't wait to try out viffing and taking off!

When people are talking quarters are you on about Financial Year or Calendar Year? If it's financial then you've got to the end of December!

Calendar year, all games when referring to quarters is in relation to the calendar year.

When the AV-8B, F-14, and F-18 all promise 2017...Money, time, return on investment; all very relative terms

I believe the majority of us here subscribe to the calendar year though. If I was interested a monetary ROI then maybe the fiscal calendar would be what I would follow.

I just started learning the mirage and I'm having a tough time following the training missions. I feel a lot more comfy in the a-10 though but the mirage just has a more fun factor to it.

I'm hoping soon they can get rid of the two versions and integrate everything. I'm only excited for the harrier because I hear Baltic Dragon will be doing training missions for it :)

The current teases/updates from Razbam have been every 1-3 days. All being well I'd say maybe a week tops before we hear something regarding release.

Hopefully next month or something like that. I get excited about learning new aircraft.

Hopefully so, the latest from Razbam: 'The next one will be for real' then the poker face and the last picture was probably a penultimate tease, the image posted was a final tease and they've been quiet now for longer than normal so hopefully in the next dcs newsletter we'll get a pre release notice.

I admire your optimism, my how I want it to be true

My grand optimism tells me that the early access wil start in the last week of september. So the prepurchase window starts at the end of this month. They want every second they get to polish the module before going live.

Then again I could be all wrong.

That sounds sensible, they're a bit pushed as they've hit a block but Q3 ends in October so they have a while to scrub it up, I believe they're slaving away on the textures as well as the radio's etc. As ever they work hard and it all takes time!

Hello folks. Zeus here.

How are you? Still fighting those withdrawal symptoms? We wish we could help.

On the AV-8B NA status:

We've been working on the speculars and I think that another livery is being worked on. None of them are ready for their photo op, sorry about that.

On avionics: Been working on the radios. Let me tell you this: I HATE the AV-8B NA radio system. My hate is warmer than our sun's corona.

As for pics all we can do is post more of the same. Visually nothing has changed yet, all changes are internal. So keep the faith. We are working to get this aircraft released on Q3 as promised.

Since Q3 ends on 30 September, it's reasonable expect an early access release soon (2 weeks?:D)

I would wager more on the early access being the "release", just as with any other module. Pre purchase might start in two weeks though...
