VMFA117_Poko Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 Have you seen this? http://lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=83&lid=733&ttitle=LockOn_Virtual_Panel_1.0.1.beta#dldetails Utilite visualise LockOn aircrafts dash-board on another monitor, or on the other computer in local network. v.1.0.1.beta works only with LockOn 1.12a. ... I would prefer to see some editor or ready sets of real cockpit imitation for Su27, MiG29, Su25, etc. Good thing - I can at last do the same as in fs9 to shear independently pit and outside view on 2 screens but 1 pc.
urze Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 great! Leftside Limited - ideas and solutions
Wild.Bill.Kelso Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Awesome. I have downloaded it and will give it a try soon.
Guest IguanaKing Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Can the instruments be placed pretty much anywhere you want them? How about the TVM or the MFD? Can those be displayed as well? It almost might be worth building a pit with a TFT behind it, if the instruments can be positioned and scaled relatively easily. I can turn a sheet of .090 2024T3 into an aircraft panel in a day or two, but the software and programming stuff completely escapes my understanding.
Mnemonic Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Little bit earlier ))) http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=281285#post281285 I'm creator of this prog. ;) No, MFD or TVM are not possible for now :( But I plan to create flight-map MFD like on Su-27 or MiG-29. Free positioning and scalling would be in next versions, soon I hope! one question... I photographed MiG-21 and MiG-25 pits... Look at this (MiG-21): How do you think, it worse to build some skin from it? 1
Woodstock Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I think there is no quick need for a cockpit panel texture. It would be more important to be able to move and scale the instruments any place and size you want, so that pit builders can put an LCD behind a wooden/plastic/metal panel. "For aviators like us, the sky is not the limit - it's our home!"
EricJ Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 you can fanagle it somewhat by editing the instrument texture set to try and "get" a digital look: Homepage | Discord | My Files | YouTube 'Nearly everyone felt the need to express their views on all wars to me, starting with mine. I found myself thinking, “I ate the crap sandwich, you didn’t, so please don’t tell me how it tastes.”' - CPT Cole, US Army

Good Job Mnemonic!!! Could You report Your work-in-progress on our english side as well, please? You there forget about us regulary... :(.
krel01 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Awesome. I have downloaded it and will give it a try soon. Wow ! Was this also done by using the .lua files ? Can't we have this in TB too ? Maybe the development can be integrated into one software. Greetings krel01 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
zorlac Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 will be looking at it right after v1.3 release... honest :)
G3 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 must say i am a little excited, virtual panel software is a great idea. agreed, it would be great to see a release with positionable gauges for making those pit overlays and it sounds like we will see it in the near future. will definately be trying this out myself asap. some US style gauges will be welcomed :) maybe ruggbutt could assist with the graphic side of things, his TB panels for the us aircraft are amazing. its cool how lockon keeps evolving it just gets better all the time, virtual gauges panel in the middle, TB to the side, and maybe one day the tews etc. we are getting closer people :) , great work Mnemonic.
Deadman Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Anyone seen this? http://viperpit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2050 https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Mnemonic Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Anyone seen this? http://viperpit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2050 but this feature is for Falcon4... Thanks to all! ;) And now few words about my second release (I think it be able to download for a week) - Enhansed FPS optimisation for LockOn (no FPS looses for 2 monitor solution) - Free-positioning and scalling system (it would be able to manipulate with all devices) - Maybe I'l create some new gauges (if I have enough time) P.S. When I accomplish with all Russian-gauges I'l start to create an American-style

When I accomplish with all Russian-gauges I'l start to create an American-style The point was not that it has to do with Falcon 4.0 but the fact that they have found a way to export the MFD from the system that was not possible before. The Thought is that the system may be adaptable to use with Lock on so it make work or be part of the solution to export the maverick TV or MFDs on other aircraft https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Deadman Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 If ED allows it any one will be able to export it https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
Mnemonic Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Like I say before, I can only create Flight-map MFD, like on MiG-29 and Su-27. Maybe those guys can import MFD from Falcon 4. It's great. :) If they can do this with LockOn, and give us this program, this will be great to!
Meyvn Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Will this work on a second monitor? I will definitely try it on my pc tonight. Thanks!
Deadman Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Never mind  https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
