I had to use it to install Normandy and the WWII assets pack too. Running the updater.exe has only ever updated the incremental updates. I'm at 60% now. Downloading slow, but that's OK. I'm retired and have all day. But if you have special wishes then it can get complicated of course ;) That is all I had to do this morning as well... Now at 51%... Small updates it would take them automatically but major ones I've always had to run it from command line. Can't wait to get home and start the download. I have fiber so it should go smoothly. You use the updater to convert your 1.5.8OB to 1.5.8 Stable Release, wait a week for 2.5 Stable Release to be released, use the standalone 2.5 Stable Release installer and during the installation it will ask you if you want to keep a backup of 1.5.8 Final. Nevada is just a map that is available in all DCS 2.x versions. It has already reached its final size.In that case I got confused, the standalone 2.5 installer is coming later or possibly tomorrow. But for people that only have 2.2 that should take care of it. If the desktop only had 1.5.8 then it's downloading stuff it would pull from 2.2 if you had it installed.
