Pilotasso Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Looks like a compilation of the original footage that was used in teh Chevaliers Du ciel movie but without cuting or editing. I added it to my aviation musical Videos (40Gigs by now). Nice find, thanx .

EricJ Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I saw it yesterday and must say I was impressed, the low level flying of the mountains was the best part  LOMAC Section| | Gaming Resume (PDF) | Gallery | Flanker2.51 Storage Site | Also known as Flanker562 back in the day... PythonOne Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Is there a high quality version we can download of the first vid. I don't want to stream it. And downloading the .flv and converting it is such a hassle.
airea Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Amazing video... One of the best, indeed best aircraft footage I have ever seen. Very clear and artistically montaged... I wish I was in one of those aircrafts....
bSr.LCsta Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 No downloadable version found yet? I would love this for my collection! 1 is this ok?
Frazer Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 Oh my goodness, I want to have this movie!!! It's like the perfect dream! Love french aviation movies, they are the best!!!!! :pilotfly: Forum | Videos | DCS:BS Demo1 / Demo2 | YouTube Channel [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Trident Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Ok, so I was miffed about not being able to download this masterpiece aswell and set about finding out how to get it on my harddrive and viewable without installing any new software. Well, it was only a partial success, but the good news is that I now have the video as a DivX avi, although I did need one additional programme for converting it. However, no new player software just for .flv's and the conversion application is *free* and has just about the smallest footprint you can imagine: you download a 2.7Mb .zip file, extract the executable and are ready to go - no actual installation required! That's acceptable, especially since I don't need to put up with a &/§"#Z%! flashfile, so I can continue my stubborn boykott of that format :D To cut a long story short, here's the little gem: http://www.enriquepuertas.com/wp-content/files/vdownloader.zip Alternatively, you can also use http://keepvid.com/ (thanks to superkungfu for that link!), but it will often only return the dreaded .flv, so you'd need a new player. Enjoy!
SuperKungFu Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 yea you can also use another free converting software like Super, http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html#Down I'm looking into another free software such as alltoavi But i still agree, converting and such is still not as good as the original quality so it would be cool if a real download link appear. CoNa Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Got the DVD in my collection since long ago. Could rip it and put it out there, but that would not be legal, would it. :music_whistling: Nah, don't have the bandwidth to post it for long anyhow.:megalol: It's great, and it's available in the shops or even ebay. Was called Sky fighters outside France. But I still like the original name better. It's actually a remake from -67. If anyone got THAT one..please let me know. Against the director's expectations, authorization was received to film a sequence where an unmarked all-black T-33 was fleeing at low-altitude over Paris to avoid radar. The production crew were limited to three passes by the unidentified aircraft over the Seine; in case of mishap, the plane would crash in the water, rather than on the city. The scene caused panic as people on the ground feared a genuine attack was taking place. Hmm... reminds me of all these modern french low level vids out there.:pilotfly:
