bkthunder
Was flying yesterday on the Korea MP server, and this bug made it literally impossible to join the fight because on the route to the AO the sun was exactly at my 6 and at the right angle to make that area of the dashboard blindingly white. A fix for something so simple would be nice after 2 years.... Bagpipe
I flew Korea MP server for half hour couple days back and did not experience it, still have never experienced it. I don't use global illumination though as the big man says so may be worth unchecking that for sure
Squiffy
I have seen this in an early morning intercept mission I made. From that video above, it appears to be a layering issue with the light reflections. That highlight box appears on the top layer, even inside the ejection seat shadow. It's quite bright too and a bit of a shock. RealDCSpilot
I checked the cockpit in modelviewer, it's not the shader maps... Must be something with the lighting or the 3d model that makes the gi lighting go nuts. i9 13900K @5.5GHz, Z790 Gigabyte Aorus Master, RTX4090 Waterforce, 64 GB DDR5 @5600, Pico 4, HOTAS & Rudder: all Virpil with Rhino FFB base made by VPforce, DCS: all modules
Squiffy
Thanks. But is that a missing texture error or not? Maybe a low light angle issue on the model? Been away from this stuff for a long time and not really fluent on the DCS or recent generation anyway. iFoxRomeo
No way:blink: no way!!!.... I thought the hell would freeze over before the Sabre would be touched again by ED... but I was wrong. In the current Open Beta I can't reproduce this lighting bug. Can someone confirm that? I also checked the Stable. There this bug doesn't appear also. Btw, I stumbled across a video I recorded, which dates this bug back to 25.06.2017(yes, 2017). I don't know, why I didn't report it back then. And the canopy glas bug is gone too, but that thread is closed. Now ED, smash the other Bugs, like the ailerons or amount of bullets or etc.., please!! I love the Sabre, such a beautiful plane. She and her Sister MiG need more love from ED. Fox Spoiler PC Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, Oculus Quest
