updated to latest 2.7.7.15038, repaired, re-installed shaders, and cleared fxo and metashaders2. However, I am getting tons of the below errors which cause high CPU. Last time I had this error I had wrongly missed messed with shaders. I only installed clear water from https://forums.eagle.ru/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=238144&key=6c4b56c460aa40ffa0fce73fe4088d0d

I am using open fsr too, am I missing something else?

I have the same problem. At night everything outside the cockpit is messed up. I guess I can be a day time fighter for a while:)

Not really, I spent last night trying the different patches, and mods, cleaning, repairing trying again, waiting for the shaders to compile. After a while I just went straight to the first night mission. But we must be doing some step wrong. Because I've read some replies here that had success. I'll wait.

in terms of pure in game performance kegety's mod still remains the fastest available, it can be found here modified for the latest open beta

Others have said the same thing, i am unable to repro it

Yes, but same "night issue".  I noticed few versions ago that the "Nothing" weather preset and Kegetys' mod were causing the same issue.

I fly mostly helis, so I get them in mi-8, ka-50 and mi-24. For some reason uh-1h has no errors. I can share a mission if you are interested.

even on the KA-50 i can't duplicate this error,  the closest i get is this:

which i only get at the end of the mission .  

The only thing that comes to mind are you running on the latest drivers and the latest updates for, Windows, Hardware, GPU, Steam, Steam VR, etc...

I am looking in dcs.log and I can see ~1500 warnings in the beginning like below

i have 33 warnings labelled 

WARNING DX11BACKEND: Shader

so whilst shaders may be a factor, its not as factor for me; so something else must be different.

what is fascinating; is that if i look at my crash logs then i have about 1400 or so  in some, in others none... so it is happening just not consistently

I combined the folders of 11.3.zip to OvGME Manager.

My path folders are this ---> M:\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\_OVGME Mods\LAST VR - 3DmigotoDCS_VR_11.3 + DCS VR Shaders mod patch for 2.7.7.14727 + update Kegetys VR Shaders mod for 3Dmigoto v1.1\"bazar and bin files here"

I wonder if it might be helpful to start a new thread for this now, as there seem to be several "variants" of this patch around, and getting a consistent and useful story about how to apply them all is quite hard from this thread.

I tried comparison between simplex and clear water. I started with simplex and kept adding one by one files from clear water.

When I include "MaterialFactory\ils151.hlsl" from clear water I get all the errors in dcs.log. Not sure what the file does though 🙂

thanks a simple solution would seem (at least for the short to medium term) would be to remove that file (if everything else still works)

That file is related to below comment on Kegety's readme.

Hi, I don't understand your question. I think that in te newest version of DCS the file "NVD_HDR.fx" have something that make a DCS crash.

 

The instalation of 11.3.zip was combined the 3 folders in 1 to upload directly with OvGME.

Mmmmmm I checked the path and is all OK, all "bazar" and "bin" files on "Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\shaders\..."

 

Other thing that I've seen, the background on main menu (hangar plane 3D model) have a white fog and a little fog on game...
