Jazz_44 Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 It won't be the release. A pre-order for a late December release at best. I'm still excited though, I've been waiting to see the tomcat with its final textures for a while now.
fredm2002 Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 I am hopeful for a preorder and more art work shared for the project. Would also like to read more about the campaigns and other content. Intel i7-12700K, 128 GB RAM, 3080 TI, 26 TB of Storage
Oesau Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 The statement about the claws and winter provides a more realistic timeframe to release.
itstheLIKWID Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 So looking forward to the stream. Insanely hyped! To see the reveal after all this time and absolutely ready to open my wallet haha :D
Eldur Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 I thought it was going to be on Twitch. Youtube totally bucks big time when it comes to streaming. Runs as well as DCS with maxed settings on a C64.
antagonist Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 They have so far maintained that the F-14 will become available this year, so I'm assuming preorders to start shortly.
Vags Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Either way, I'm sure she will be awesome whenever the release is, but let's face it now would be good...

yngvef Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Nah, they'll time it for the 50 year anniversary of the first flight: December 21, 1970...
Tirak Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Nah, they'll time it for the 50 year anniversary of the first flight: December 21, 1970... As poetic as that would be, no release goes through without bugs, or at least should be planned without bugs. A release that close to Christmas could potentially ruin Heatblur's Christmas plans making them either leave the module in a buggy state or make them have to come into work rather than spending time with their families. They might do it, but that makes me think they might set a date a little earlier to make sure everything's going well. With that said, we'll likely know in a few hours one way or another.
xKBLx_Viper_6354 Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 In Western Australia eagerly awaiting reveal, so excited to see what it is [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] If it doesn't work how it should, give it a good HARD smack. 100% fixed every time.

Runs as well as DCS with maxed settings on a C64. I'm glad I didn't run into any problems today That soundtrack is pure awesomeness Too bad my 970 probably will die under the stress rendering that absolutely phenomenal cockpit though. Sorry ED, but now your Hornet cockpit looks so dated...
Raz_Specter Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 (edited) I am talking purely as a end user buyer here - Maybe the marketing people at Heat blur should understand what a LIVE stream actually is, LIVE being the optimum word there. not just playing a pre-recorded video. Would have been great if someone could have show even just a takeoff and landing. And Yes I have pre-ordered :) but just was hoping for more than a video to have been played :( Edited October 7, 2018 by Raz_Specter Custom built W10 Pro 64Bit, Intel Core i9 9900k, Asus ROG Maximus Code XI Z390, 64GB DDR4 3200 RGB, Samsung 1TB NVme M.2 Drive, Gigabyte AORUS 2080TI, 40" Iiyama Display.
