Die F-16 soll mit der nächsten Open Beta kommen, und sie hoffen dass es weniger als 2 Wochen bis zum nächsten Update sind.

Das ist wohl der Plan. Wenn alles gut läuft soll sie wohl bereits nächste Woche kommen. Ein Intervall spielt dabei keine Rolle. Sie kommt wohl mit dem nächsten Update und das kommt sobald die F-16 darin implementiert und ausreichend getestet ist.

DCS: F-16C Viper Update

 

Things are moving at a very rapid pace, and here is where our focus is for the upcoming release:

 

1- We have RWS and STT working, but work continues the SAM sub-mode and we are cleaning up symbology and functions. We are working on Track While Scan (TWS) mode in parallel with the Hornet, so this will come shortly after release.

 

2- AA Gun, AIM-9, and AIM-120 are up and running, but several items to still tune and add. Mostly the Dynamic Launch Zones (DLZ) and a few more minor items.

 

3- The Litening targeting pod is in and working, even for LGB self-designation. There are several items to still fix and add. Related, the DED laser page for the pod is now working. Please note that the LGB bomb laser code cannot be set in the aircraft.

 

4- ILS is in, but we still need to set up the needles. It’s close and I’ll create a video for it soon.

 

5- Tomorrow we should have the underside of the aircraft done with completed textures. With that, Cato will create the launch trailer.

 

6- The cockpit is more fleshed out with the Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS) sensor post, some improved seat textures, a better effect for the LCD displays, and we removed the safety pin from the manual chute handle.

 

7- The Early Access Guide is shaping up well and will be available at release. Bunyap has done a great job with it.

 

8- Several interactive training missions will be available at release.

 

9- ACM radar modes are in, but we just need to update the HUD.

 

10- Dogfight switch is underway now and associated after and forward (MRM) functions.

 

12- We plan to have an initial IFF system but have not settled on the exact mechanization.

 

13- Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS) is working in NAV mode.

 

14- Cockpit night lighting has been further improved with gauge lighting. We want to tune the flood lights a bit more though.

 

15- The centerline fuel tank will be ready this week.

 

16- Initial CMDS and RWR is functional. Four programs for chaff and flares and the RWR will be set up for the ALR-56M.

 

17- Cold start is working now, but we are adjusting some of the electrical panel sub-systems so the act correctly during cold start. Some of the instrument values are a bit off too, and we are working to adjust them.

 

18- Flight path marker (FPM) drift cut off was added.

 

Next week we will announce the release date. Once released though (soon), the 20% discount will end, and it will probably be over a year until we put the Viper in a sale.

Im Gegenteil zu manch anderem Entwickler (RAZBAM, DIW?) tut ED seine News auch hier im eigentlichen Forum des Produkts veröffentlichen, so dass man nicht dazu gezwungen wird so problematische Seiten wie Facebook zu besuchen.

 

 

 

Ich bin weniger im Englischen Bereich, daher war mir das nicht ganz so geläufig.

Habe extra keinen Link gesetzt ;)- aber ich sollte mich mal wirklich durch Englische Quälen, kann ja nicht schaden das mal besser zu können.

 

 

Aber nächste Woche gibt es ja scheinbar einen Termin, das ist ja schon einmal etwas worauf man Warten kann.

Im Grunde von einem Wartezimmer ins nächste, aber es verkürzt die Gedankliche Zeit :D .

Wags ist inzwischen dazu übergegangen für die neuen Flugzeuge (Hornet und Viper) extra Mini-Update-Threads zu betreiben, die für sonstige Kommentare gesperrt sind, so dass da nur die offiziellen infos drinn stehen und sonst nichts. Daraus stammt auch mein obiger Link. Wenn man diese Threads und den allgemeinen wöchentliche News-Thread verfolgt ist man schon ziemlich gut informiert ohne sich durch ellenlange Threads wühlen zu müssen wo mal ein Entwickler was mittenrein gepostet hat :thumbup:

Ich finde, dass sich die Kommunikation von ED gegenüber früher massiv verbessert hat,

obwohl es noch genug Leute gibt,

denen man es nicht Recht machen kann ... :music_whistling:

 

Ich kann damit sehr gut leben ... :thumbup:

da ich die F-16 auf alle Fälle haben will, habe ich diesmal den Prepurchase genutzt und für die Bonuspunkte ein paar geile Kampagnen geschossen :D

Das lag an Heatblur, die ED Module nehmen ja immer am Bonusprogramm teil, wenn sie erschienen und nicht reduziert sind. Das sollte also bei der Viper schon funktionieren und falls nicht, haben wir wieder einen Grund frei Haus uns ausgiebig auszukotzen:Flush:

ist ja nicht schlimm ... ich wollte es halt nur kundtun, dass einem das bei ED auch passieren könnte, was sich ja so nicht ergeben hat ... alles ist gut ...

 

Da ich momentan mit AJS37, FA18 (bald auch F16) genug zu tun habe, ist die F-14 immer noch in der Warteschlange ...

 

Ich glaube mal für mich, dass ich da auf das EA-Ende warte ...

und vielleicht bin ich dann schon in Rente (kein Jahr mehr :D)

Öhmm... ja, da hab ich mich auch mit in die Nesseln gestzt. Ich kann mich noch erinnern, wie Du geschrieben hast, dass Du Deine Bonuspunkte bei der F-14 nicht loswerden kannst und ich mich gefragt habe warum wohl nicht - denn ich habe auch extra bis nach dem Prepurchase gewartet um die noch los zu werden... :D

Macht aber nix - ich hab sie dann zum vollen Preis gekauft und bereue es absolut nicht - ich kann sie Dir auch nur wärmstens empfehlen :thumbup:

Schicke Infos zu den F-16 HOTAS-Profilen aus Wags' Mini-Updates:

 

We now have a very complete accounting for all Viper controls in the Input Controls Manager in DCS World. As such, we have created default control profiles that match the Viper for Thrustmaster, RealSimulator, Virpil, VKB, and Logitech products that can mimic the F-16's controls.

 

I believe these to be quite close to the real aircraft, but you can naturally adjust them to best suit your needs.
