If so, that’s good progress. All that’s left is QA testing. Eldur Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I hope it’s not the 3rd party I think it is. I know I shouldn’t be profiling, but if the shoe fits.... The one I would perhaps have suspected is out of business already... But well, the update can't be here tomorrow. I'm having 2 days off just before the weekend and it's plain impossible that there will be a DCS update to enjoy then Though there's always one thing... Anyway, the wait will be worth it
StandingCow Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 June 5th. If anything it would be Friday first, if they can't fix it by then... yea, June 5th. 5900X - 32 GB 3600 RAM - 1080TI My Twitch Channel ~Moo

QuiGon Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 So people complain if ED rushes an update that is broken, but they also complain if ED tries to fix an update before they release it? What is ED supposed to do?? Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
FSKRipper Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 So people complain if ED rushes an update that is broken, but they also complain if ED tries to fix an update before they release it? What is ED supposed to do?? You know, some peoples sole purpose in life is to have something to complain about. If we get a patch today without bugs they will complain about the time of release, the size on the HDD, the "felt" performance or the lack of content. i9 9900K @ 5,0GHz | 1080GTX | 32GB RAM | 256GB, 512GB & 1TB Samsung SSDs | TIR5 w/ Track Clip | Virpil T-50 Stick with extension + Warthog Throttle | MFG Crosswind pedals | Gametrix 908 Jetseat [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BoneDust Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Honestly moving up a version number usually means some decent improvements all around. What is ED supposed to do?? Agreed. Remember the torches and pitchforks when the Hornet would bank with the wind? Speaking for myself, I rather they let patches cook a little longer in the oven to make sure nothing else got accidentally broken. run come save me

S-GERAT Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Well, right now the open beta and the release are exactly the same version, so even if the new open beta bring a catastrophe shouldn't be any drama.
