No key command. The "world volume" slider in the audio options now just affects external views.

Indeed a long time coming, but here it is. Now we've gotten rid of the annoying zoomout upon entering a cockpit and this. Many times it's the little things that bug you.

Yeah more this kind of stuff, audio shouldn't be forgotten! The F2 view switch volume fade-in is the best idea ever that nobody* thought. * = me or seeing anyone mention it on the forum.

We had a thread going some time back about the traumatizing experience of suddenly dying and being thrown out of the cockpit as a spirit with world sound to max, with dog-fighting planes screeching at full ab and warhead explosions. Heart-attack inducing for sure.

 

This is a great tradeoff/compromise/solution. Brilliant programming ED!
