Not had a trip to the Lake District all year because of the rain we've had in the UK. Was really glad to see these 2 Tornados!

I was there..... damn loud that plane is... I think the Vulcan is quieter though...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Engine, rotor blades, mast mounted radar, wing, paint and tail section all point to AH-64 (AH-64D, to be more precise). But I have no clue what those missiles are other than that they look like mock-ups.

It's from the Raytheon webshite so at a guess mock up of Hellfires.

But they look different from Hellfires.

and it's not a Brimstone either >> http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a9/Brimstone_missile_at_RAF_Museum_London.JPG

Those would be Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles (JAGM), which if everything goes to plan (which it didn't for its predecessor, the joint common missile) will replace all hellfire, tow and maverick missiles.

On the inboard station theres a rack of longbow hellfires.
