Good day. Could someone please help? I have a new mesh network and am trying to get DCS UFC up and running. I think I have everything set up correctly, but the only thing that works, for example on F16, is the COM button and F1-F12, which are in the application on the map. So, for example, communication with ground staff on a tablet works. Does anyone know where the problem could be?

Clicking on "Update script" seems to only give an error...

Totally beside the point, "Something goes wrong" should be in the past tense, "Something went wrong". 🙂

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

Try manually removing the script and reinstalling it

I just renamed the pw-dev_script dir first, and that seemed to do the trick.

Thanks for that quick reply!

Hello,

There is a display problem on IFEI of the F18 for the RPM and OIL on the right. In fact when there are only 2 digits the numbers are slightly shifted to the left.

Thank you for this application

I recently re-installed windows 10.
My setup was working fine before reinstall.
After reinstall I got latest version of your script and also re-ran batch file to add  firewall rules.
I am using 3 android tablets. I verified the IP addressed are configured correctly both on the PC and on the tablets inside DCS-UFC.

I am using steam based DCS with MT preview start option.

I am experiencing the following problems:
1. Opening DCS UFC on tablet after starting a flight, does't display any data for any panel.
2. if I open DCS UFC before flight, I am able to only display data from the sim. I can not "send" any data (i.e: it doesn't respond when I touch the tablet).

I would appreciate any help.

Hi. I really hope you're still supporting this app, I've posted some problems on your Facebook page, but no replies.
I fly the AV-8B, and have a few issues with DCSUFC.
In single player all works fine except top 3 rotary knobs (both comm volumes and UFC brightness). As soon as I touch them on the tablet they rotate back and forth and are unusable.
In multiplayer the same thing occurs, but I also loose all LED info being sent to the tablet. But buttons still work. Is this a port conflict, and is there a fix I can do?
Any help would be appreciated, as it's a great app but I can't get the best out of it.
p.s. All software and scripts are up to date

I have the same problem on the F/A-18. For example when I type coordinates on the UFC in the app, it updates ingame, but not in the app. I.e.: When I press button 1 in the app, button 1 is pressed ingame, but I don't see the number 1 on the UFC panel in the app. Thanks.

Check the IP of your device (tablet/phone) set in the script configuration file (Config.lua in the script folder), it is possible that the IP is incorrect or there is a typo in it (a comma instead of a dot, an unnecessary space, etc.).

If the IP is 100% OK, check whether in the network properties in Windows the network you are connected to is set to "private" and not "public"

Hi Pet333r,

I use your app DCS UFC in single player mode and is a huge help but i cannot see numbers and letters in multiplayer server.

Single player everything works!!

Multi: If I press keys on the app i see the reaction on the -18's UFC but i cannot see Freqs, letters and numbers. Any idea? Data export on server setting is on.

Thank you in advance.

That was it! The IPs had changed. After modifying them in the script file, it works again. I also downloaded the AOA indexer app; now I'm using 2 devices at the same time. Both apps are fantastic!

Hello ! I mostly use A-10c 2 and since latest update, I have no more "feedback" on the app.

No CDU screen, no switch or rotary moving, no light on warning panels, ....

If I push a button or rotary with the app, it move ingame, but in the app, no graphic update.

Thanks.

And to quote myself, after update of the scripts in my computer, all is working fine. So the problem was between the keyboard and the chair 😄 😄 😄

This may have been asked and answered. But l have a full Winwing ICP and 3 MFDs with screens for the Viper. I recently downloaded and DCS UFC app for my tablet for the switches and panels.

My problem is the DED data that usually goes to the Winwing ICP is now being routed to the tablet instead. I want it to stay on the ICP and not be exported to the tablet. Or if possible send it to both.

Any good code monkeys here figured this out or ran into this problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hi, I'd like to request a small update. In the F-16 markpoints page, the inverted STPT text which tells you that your markpoint is selected as current steerpoint is not visible in the app.

How to reproduce:

  1. press ICP 7 to enter Markpoints
  2. use the cursor ministick to move the target designator on the HUD (or targeting pod) to a location on the ground
  3. press TMS UP to designate a markpoint
  4. press ICP 0/M-SEL to set current markpoint as your steerpoint
  5. STPT should appear in the upper right corner of the DED (see attached image)

EDIT: The whole HMCS alignment page seems to be nonfunctional too with missing text.

Hi,

After several tests and a full re-install of the script and apps, that does not works. On the A-10C II radio, when I pusht a rotary switch on the tablet, nothing happen on the app, but the button turn 90° to the left and stuck in this position. That's happening for all button.

I have updated the app, the script, check the correct IP, network set to private.

Do I have to install the scripts-extended?

Thanks,

Vincent

Still working flawlessly. My purchase all those years ago still paying off today.

One thing I'd love to see is, you know how when you open up the Maps tool and it shows speed, altitude, heading? Something like that, but just that, would be really nifty. Like just flight telemetry.

Same here. Were you able to find a solution?

I've been away from DCS recently, but I've noticed a small graphic error on the Hornet IFEI that I don't remember being present. Specifically, the right engine RMP and oil pressure indications are not located correctly.
