АПЛ Лос-Анджелес👍,только убрать бы из неё пулемёт и жаль что нет торпед МК-48,Томагавков я поставил 12штук, торпедный запас(26?) можно заполнить Гарпунами.

WWII Fletcher-class destroyer (1944-45)

WWII Sumner-class destroyer (1944-45)

WWII Cleveland-class light cruiser (1944-45)

WWII Suamico-class oiler/tanker (1944-45) ...or similar

(These would go along nicely with the WWII Essex-class carrier that's supposedly being made for the F4U Corsair.) 

 

FRAM II Sumner-class destroyer (1965-71)

Gearing-class destroyer FRAM I (1960's-70's)

Knox-class frigate - w/Sea Sparrow (1970's) and w/Phalanx (1980's)

Wichita-class fleet oiler - (1970's-80's)

...you can't have too many classic ships!  🙂

The Fletcher class destroyer Mod already exists. Have a look here :

The Knox class (with Phalanx CIWS) exists, thanks to Admiral : see the USS Bowen link on the 1st page of this thread.

Thank you, Toan!  I'll have a look at the Fletcher, right away!  And I didn't realize USS Bowen was a Knox-class.  I downloaded it, just haven't run DCS since to have a look at it.  😯🙂  Awesome!

It could be that a list or index of ships under "Mods" might be useful.  That way we can make sure we get all that's out there.

Well, there are so many ships Mods now that it would be a full time job to update the list... 😜

Admiral alone has uploaded 22 ships (see the 1st page of this thread), and he has several more on the bench. 👏

Other Mods from various authors include modern ships from the US, GB, Australia, Brazil, France, Italy, China, and older ones (especially from the WWII era)  from Germany, US, GB, Japan, France, etc... 😋

But some of these haven't been update to 2.7x, unfortunately.

there is a Chinese TYPE 093 submarine in the DCS, and a player with the Arms Combine can sit in it and shoot torpedoes and anti-ship missiles, someone can do the same with the Los Angeles submarine

What is it with the FFGX-62 Constellation, why does its radar not show radiation, I'm trying to find its ELINT-but there is no radiation, while it shoots missiles at me-don't you find it strange?

Most probably an evasive and stealth radar strategy for this new frigate... 😋

Sorry i have been MIA. I was on a short vacation. When i get a chance i will try to answer some of your questions!

Hello Charik80! I added the Missile connectors to the Los Angeles but for some reason they do not launch. However, when i add the L.A. to Sim without the 093 sub script it launches missiles. Also, when i attempt to add the torpedo script in SIM without the 093 script the mod doesn't appear in DCS. We're trying to get them to unlock the Torpedo code so we can use it on ships as well. 

I will slowly get back into modeling the ships again. The USS Bainbridge is currently a WIP!

If you have a little time left, I have a wish for you for the year 2022:

Missile Launcher Frigate "D 602 SUFFREN"

Docked at DCAN Lorient on December 21, 1962, the missile frigate Suffren was floated on May 15, 1965 and admitted to active service on July 20, 1968.
Retired from active service, the last ceremony of the colors took place on September 20, 2001.

Designed specifically for the close protection of the Clemenceau and Foch aircraft carriers, it was with the Duquesne (its sister ship) one of the first protective combat vessels of a naval force capable of intervening against air and submarine threats. or surface, and possibly terrestrial.

It would make a great element for the French naval forces of DCS.

I fully support your request.

Does there exist a downloadable 3D model of the Suffren somewhere ? This is the required first step for designing a new Mod for DCS.

Otherwise, designing such a 3D model is a huge task, clearly out of reach for anyone during spare time, unfortunately.

Does anyone know how much work it would be to add the new ship wake effect that's present in the core mods to admirals wonderful mods ? I don't know if it's part of the base model or added via some values in the lua etc.

Damn yandex translator,  Hi     Admiral189 ,     I can shoot torpedoes and YJ-84 missiles on the submarine 093, but there is such a crooked view and when I get into it through the commander, it sinks under water, I try to raise it to the surface with all commands-but it does not obey, only if I get out of it then it pops up.Hooray, I understood how to raise it to the surface, it is necessary to put; State of Green.

The Los Angeles model, just a "bomb", the mines open, the "Axes" are fired clearly, it's a pity that it doesn't shoot when you sit in it as a commander, well, the machine gun is annoying, the view from F9 is normal-I would like to do this for 093 (I would like to know what parameters are responsible for this), I put 12 Tomahawks and 12 Harpoons-instead of a part of torpedoes, torpedoes would be put from 093, then someone can do MK.

100% agree, the bow wake push by the Kilo's are pretty awesome, would love yo see that effect too.

Los Angeles obeys orders normally, does not go under water when taking control, she would also like to make a periscope and antennas, but there is a disorder with the speed of the "Moose", surface and underwater are the same-37 km/ h must be changed.And in the file, the speed in which units is miles or nautical?

Thank you for all the great work.

I installed the HMCS Montreal, it looks great, but the "machine guns" don't have textures. I would like to know if I'm missing the texture file or if something has to be modified in the config file. Anyone else experiencing this issue? All other textures are fine.
