Some exhaust effects with heatblur distortion and exhaust smoke always makes a module really feel alive and not a static set piece for me. Just adds a nice touch. Loving the P47. Surprised by how much I like it actually. Well done ED.

 

and maybe a flyable B17 some day, just saying. I bet it would blow WW2 DCS wide open!

+1 for this, with some continuity amongst all modules that are applicable as new ones with features are added. Like the spitfire can be overprimed and has a hot start, but the p51 doesn't. 

Also would like some realism when it comes to starting them, it isn't realistic that they start perfectly each time...

I agree.  Everything looks so realistic and yet this effects are mission from all Prop Planes with one exception: Spitfire.

Yes!  Look at the heat blur coming out of the exhaust during the first few seconds of this video!  It’s most noticeable when he passes in front of the tree line.   I never noticed it before but it’s cool!
