I don’t see these entries in the DCS profile. Clearly, I’m misunderstanding this process!

You have to look at the profile of a known supported game and you will see the unknown entries referenced. Took me a while too tbh, still not worked out how to add the flags to my DCS entry but I haven't used inspector in a long long time....

I've turned resizable BAR on in my MB BIOS, installed the latest NVIDIA driver, flashed my ASUS 3090 with their Resizable BAR flashing tool and I can see "Resizable BAR YES" in NVIDIA system information. I've never used Nvidia Profile Inspector before. I selected the "Digital Combat Simulator: Black Shark" profile and clicked on "Show unknown settings from NVIDIA Predefined profiles" to bring up the "unknown" list. So is it just a case of selecting those 3 lines with the 17 profiled apps and hitting "apply changes" ?

Interesting, didn't see that option, will have a dig. It could well be as simple as that , but make sure you export your existing profile in case it all goes bendy...

The button for "Show unknown settings from NVIDIA Predefined profiles" is the second button from the right on the toolstrip top of the window. After you click that all of the unknown settings appear at the bottom of the DCS list. The 3 x 17 program items are right at the top of the unknowns

.."export current profile including predefined settings" ?

That's the option I took..moaned about the default name as I think it's the spaces etc, so just called it DCS

So, is it just the case of adding those 3 Unknowns in and hitting Apply Changes?  Does that save it to your main profile?  Never really used NVidia Inpector before.

can't work out how to select one of those items. Think you might have to use the bit value editor which looks a "bit" scary. Perhaps best to wait for FoxTwo's advice 😉

So, I just tried using an AAR mission I use for practice, and there was no noticeable improvement for me at least. However, I am:

a) Using VR

b) have reprojection enabled in SteamVR (G2)

c) may have cocked up the edits in inspector.

So not ideal and needs a lot more testing.

Guys do you want to create a separate thread for the resizable bar explorations. Thanks!

My G2 arrives on Wednesday and I will be checking your settings out once it's all up and running, I am very excited to see the new visuals after 5 years with the rift. Although the rift runs great on the 3090
