I voted F-16 but in fact I still do not understand why the game even comes out without the Su-25. The vanilla Toad is so great and so "basic" that it perfectly fits the aim for a realistic simulation. Flying it is a dream with all those nice clockwork instruments. Piloting it with a Breitling watch on your wrist must be the ultimate in sheer mechanical fun.

That is a difficult question...I will like to se a flanker, because it is the sexiest jet (were can you see a mix of brute force and grace like in this bird?)j and still is deathly; also because it was the first virtual airplane I flew. Also because it has a cold war aura. It is the russian nemesis of the eagle. An eagle will also be cool, It is an airplane that deserves to be properly modeled (not saying that lock-on is bad here) depicting all its qualities and design characteristics that make it deathly and at the same time a beautiful jet.

The mirage 2000 deserves some time in the scenery too, The delta wing flying characteristics could be a good and fresh subject.

The Harrier why not? Imagine a mission where you have to stop a group of terrorist that have a nuclear weapon on the top of a high-rise building in florida ! and then rescue your daughter from falling form a crane! that would be a blast! uuh forgot the best part, shoot an sidewinder trout building with a terrorist riding on it to hit a helicopter!

A mig-29 I like it because it may be like a girl, she may be beautiful but with short legs, we have to be realistic no one is perfect. I like her because it is not perfect and still is gorgeous.

A hornet, ah... Just love its high aoa moves and those beautiful vortex coupled with the carrier ops. Great mix uh?

Could you reconsider and about Su-32 fighter-bomber because it's designed for tactical deployment against air, ground and naval targets etc. as a substitute for SU-25T if SU-25T have not been built in BS

Black Shark has just Black Shark. NO other aircraft are flyable, period.

The Su-32 is classified - should it become declassified it might be included as a flyable aircraft in a future DCS module, assuming there aren't more interesting things to do.

Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

The Su-32 is completely new and has just entered service (i think), so all data about it's systems, avionics, performance, younamit is classified. As building a simulator to the standard that the black shark has now needs lots of data as well as support by real-life pilots, that just won't happen, say, in the next 10 years.

Edit: Ah damn you GGTharos and your fast typing ;-)

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

Come let's eat grandpa!

i've understood you right there won't be SU-25 , SU-27 playable in DCS , only the KA-52 ?

Posted

No, the only playable aircraft in DCS: Black Shark will be the Ka-50. There is no Ka-52.

If you want a Su-27, you'll have to wait for DCS: Flanker.

i just came across this , the new Mig-29 SMT could be very interesting

I think its in the DCS news/updates thread.

The MiG-29A, Su-27P/S, F-15C, F-16, and A-10A/C as well as AH-64 and Mi-24 are currently planned as modules to be made by ED.

To me i think the Mig-29M is more interesting. Compared to the "older" Mig-29, it has four pylons on each wing, instead of just three...

I would love to fly the F14 in naval operations with carrier landings and so on. loved F14 Fleet Defender a lot! Never forget the night landings on the carrier :)

Tornado + Harrier GR-X variety

"A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft."

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!

The F-16, Su-27 and A-10 are already included in the future modules, so we're getting them no matter what.

I want Marine Corps Harrier for the same reason why I'm excited about BS; learning to fly all over again. :p

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
