JAS 39C Gripen Community Mod

Hi,

I absolutely love this mod and Love the real Gripen! My favorite paint is the Gripen E 6002. I noticed that on your last release that the paint for that one changed (see pictures) and is missing some color near the speed brakes and the nose and underside color almost looks white, the real one appears more light gray. Is there anyway that could be corrected when you release your next update? Thank you so much for your passion and hard work with this mod it is very much appreciated! Keep up the great work!!

Hello,

thank you for your great Job it's a very fun mod.

I found a problem with the last update but maybe it's a mod conflict. 

The US carriers dissappear in the game when the JAS39 mod is in. 

Could someone test that ? Thank You.

Supercarrier works fine with JAS-39C Mod

However Eurofighter Mod does not play well with JAS-39C Mod, everything disappears

I can't get the Gripen A/G to use GBUs

I have GBU's and I've treid both the internal tpod and external t-pod, I have them to attack a group and use laser guided bombs, they either just fly right over the targer or circle it a few times then fly away.

I downloaded and copied the unzipped files into the correct folder. I updated my game, bought FC3, updated it. I get an error stating that Im not authorized to use the JAS-39 so it's being deactivated. It's there in the modules but non functioning.

I got it to use AIM-9Xs on the F-15C.

Most likely you didn’t place the Mod files on the correct folder, that message means that you placed the mod within the dcs program,’s folder, rather than at /saved games/

So I don't have FC3 yet and I'm using a controller to do most things, which is fine for the most part, but for some reason in the A/G model that I can actually use, the throttle won't work at all, no matter what I bind it to, it won't increase or decrease, it's stuck at 0%, is it because I need an actual HOTAS to use the mod properly or should it be fixed if I get the FC3 module?

Hi, not currently we are still working on a 1.8.5 version.

No you don't need to get FC3, the mod was designed to work with HOTAS, but since more and more of our user base is using other peripherals we will be adding them in the next version.

Uninstall all other mods and try again, I would suggest also to check YouTube tutorials to properly use the GBUs. ED also breaks our weapons with updates, testing will commence after OB 2.8.

So until the next update I can't fully use the mod? That's fine, I'm happy to hear that it is still being worked on and that my issue is being noticed, can't wait for the next update to fully experience the Gripen!

Is there any way of binding separate buttons for chaff/flare respectively, or am I forced to fire both at the same time (fumbling through the MFD pages to disable either chaff or flare is too much of a hassle in the middle of combat).

Furthermore, I'm trying to load 80 flares + 40 chaff, since one countermeasure dispense press deploys two flares and one chaff. However, the MFD after loading still shows the default loadout of 40 flares + 80 chaff.

Hi, i've downloaded the files for the grippen mod and everything seem to work but then i go in the cockpit and when i move the joystick nothing happens. All the other aircrafts and mods i have work properly but with this one i have no way to control the aircraft (go left/right, increase speed etc...) with my joystick, can someone explain me why and help me please.

You will need to setup the custom axis. Our FBW system required other controls than the vanilla FC3 ones. They are label Gripen axis

@whisky.actual Seriously, I can't wait to fly the new version of the Gripen MOD.

I even started physical traning in order to sustain the higher g's and roll rates of this bird in comparison with the AJS ...
Can you estimate in ... let's say months from now for the new version to become available?

Okay, thanks a lot but i don't understand how you open the fire, i tried to set up the "trigger" but when i press the button nothing happens (even with Launch Autorised). What should i do please ?

You need to turn the master arm (MASS) and flip the trigger safe on the joystick.

What about a real Gripen simulator?

I like this better than the MFD(?) on F-35, but I am pretty sure this is no touch screen.
