The above clean and install process worked for him and he was able to fly immediately after applying the clean and repair. Dunx Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 I have no idea if this is related but I had a SteamVR crash today for the first time. I was in MP (Aerobatics Europe), started a T-45, took off and flew for a few minutes before the SteamVR crash. I noticed yesterday that OpenVRSettingsUX.exe had a an option under Graphics named Optimise rendering and improve GPU memory usage which was already set to "On". I don't remember seeing this before. Changed it to "Off" and tried DCS again... repeated mission/flight and this time no crash. May just be a coincidence. That has literally never happened to me before so something is afoot here... Interestingly, after the 2nd one bluescreened, I terminated the mission on the 2D display to find that I had been awarded the Purple Heart !
