And..... guess what? Yep, you're correct no kneeboard Syria map update in todays OB. What was a joke, has now turned into a total farce.

I've got good news, @MAESTR0 has messaged me to say that the kneeboard will be added and available in the next update! Yeah!

Ok, so news today from @MAESTR0, he told me that the fix for our issue here will be available in the next update of the map, but that will not be until October! Oh well, I guess it's sort of good

Sorry to be new to the party 🙂 but is there any possible workaround for this like updating any lua file or similar to support a folder for Syria? 

Pretty amazing they can't fix what appear to be a simple thing...

I think it was here, or may have been on Marianas (where the issue is the same), where someone tried that. But, it didn’t work. 
Very frustrating all round.

If the mission was edited by yourself, you can add the relevant kneeboard pages within the MIZ file itself, like this:

Useful, but it’s not about individual missions. An example being putting airfield data in for all missions like we can do for every map except Syria and Marianas.

We seem to be banging our head against a brick wall here. 
This - and on Marianas - has been reported for a long time now. It would seem to be a trivial thing to fix.

Just to let you guys know: I have working kneeboards for this map- and I don't mean aircraft specific, but mission specific. Inside the .miz file I have the following folders (Note the name in CAPITALS).

KNEEBOARD/IMAGES

.png files in this folder shows up for all AC flying the mission.

(I think I read somewhere that the issue for some strange reason was that people did not write in capitals, which seems strange- but anyhow- working for myself and my group just fine).

As a workaround you could add your files directly in <savegames>\DCS\Kneeboard or <savegames>\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard, but it means that you will have these charts for all maps... just a workaround...not ideal solution... on my side I used these one : https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312200/

Sure, there are a few workarounds, but none are ideal.

Yep, those are the ones I use. The best I've seen from Minsky.
