Nice! Do you use some blur-like effect deliberately? I think DCS shots can be more crisp and clear. Like this one (it's not about the resolution only) http://jensgiesser.de/BlackShark/Screens/Kh_25ML/Kh-25ML_040.jpg

One should use a program that dynamically shows preview of output image while tuning the compression ~90%, e.g. GIMP, IrfanView (with plug-in?) or other. The source images for this kind of work should be saved from game in lossless format (BMP, PNG).

If you knew all that just ignore the part in italics.

Hi Bucic,

I used a little blur to soften the sharpness of the raw image. Its also only a 90% quality jpeg as 100% is file heavy without much significant improvement in image quality.

I appreciate BS can do sharper shots, like these ones here, but sometimes feels too sharp.

Like your screenie btw ;)

I'm certainly interested in the sharp version if you have one. Or at least the main shot with the squad logo. Can you post it?

Hi Bucic,

I'm not on the main PC at the moment, but I should get some time over the weekend and will do you some high res & sharp shots.

Is it the black shark #57 you're most interested in?

I think so :) I was referring to this one http://www.avkh16.dsl.pipex.com/Wallpapers/Wallpapers_DCS_BS_20100109_2.jpg but I'll be happy to receive a whole bunch of similar ones. If you can upload 1280x1024 it would be great but 1920x1200 will do just fine. Please PM, when you upload them somewhere. Thanks.

Currently I don't own DCS BS but I like to watch ;)

Some screen shots from last nights squad flight.

Noticed someone had landed on a building and wondered if i could my helicopter in front of his. So another squad member talked me in from the F2 view and here's the Result.

Took a while of :joystick: to get on the roof though

Squad member was flying #51 while i was flying #25

Happy flying everyone.

***EDIT***

think we should try and fit 3 helicopters on there next time
