Ermm, 19 would have put it on Friday the 27th.. Just Sayin

But I also had a mistake in the math, it was supposed to be 75, not 25.

But if it's 5+15 instead of 5*15,

It comes down to.

Time = T, F-15(E)
Then, F = 6, E = 5
T = 6-15(5)
T= 6-15+5
T= 6-20
T= -14

Therefore, T = -14 Days 🙂

Concur.  F-15E first flight was 11th December 1986

11 + 12 + 1986 = 2009

2023 - 2009 = 14 days.

Two weeks, confirmed.

I'm really looking forward to this module, specially although not related because it appears that with the upcoming dlss I could be able to cranck up the visuals and its gonna be amazing in VR or so I hope.

Thanks for the link, but i prefer to keep my DCS install clean from any mods although there are some realy good ones out there. The DCS Strike Eagle will still be a great jet w/o the Delta Amraam...

Im assuming theyre just reusing assets, but im fairly certain the USMC doesnt operate the F15E

Stolen valor. It's an air force guy who clearly wishes he was a Marine.  The level of detail in DCS never ceases to amaze. It is so realistic.

Hmmm, it's a pity that the guy didn't turn of back ... we would have clarity ...

Pilot F-15E SJ.jpg

I hope he is a WSO (can't zoom in enough to see his wings). That center pouch is huge and would make reaching around it for the stick a pain.

So WSO can have a USMC uniform and a pilot can't? 😄 This photo was supposed to show that the screenshot before is not a USMC pilot at all.

He's AF. Navy/Marine aviator wings are wider/more pointed at the tips..

I don't understand the discussion on the F-15E about whether it's Navy/Marines or AirForce wings... No one except AF has ever used any version of the F-15 in the USA. The screenshot from the DCS with the model of pilot is in the most appropriate colors. The difference in shades may at most result from the settings of the monitor / graphic card.
Pilots of the Navy, Marine Corps, and the like flew the F-15 at most as guests and perhaps as test pilots at a time when "naval" versions of the machine were considered. But I don't think it goes that far.

The services do exchange tours in which pilots can fly with other services and the air forces of other nations. It is possible for a USMC pilot to be flying and USAF jet.

Because you were so caught up in your own arrogance, that you didn't even bother to look at the photo that started the 'wings' discussion before you posted your snarky comment.

The USMC emblem is the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. If you would have looked carefully, .you would have seen what the USMC comment was referring too. Please take a moment and read and understand the conversation before taking to the keyboard. We would all appreciate it. Thanks! 👍

Painting the helmet is not be "regulate" and basically the emblem of the Corps on the helmet rather does not indicate belonging to the formation. Might as well be Mickey Mouse... As far as I know, uniforms as such - a jumpsuit, a vest are elements of the regulations. The helmet itself also, but what you have painted on it, the regulations do not specify in terms of the type of graphics. So maybe it's a USAF pilot who always wanted to fly in the corps?
