Try this one:

Don't forget: Coordinate conversion between MGRS and LAT/LNG is only available from STPT 21 to 25!

If your plane is aligned correctly it should show up on your HSD. As soon as you store the data it will be in your system as steerpoint. sometimes pressing DED increment/decrement switch up and down (cycle through steerpoints) solves the problem.

Why JTAC does not provide GZD? How should I know whether target is in 38T or 37T grid?

I guess, you'll notice this when the created STPT is very far (> 50 NM) off the target area.

I created some cheat sheets for my kneeboard for MGRS grid zone designators (GDZ's). They are still being vetted in the user files. I used this as source

https://mappingsupport.com/p2/coordinates-mgrs-gissurfer-maps.html

You can create your own or wait until my pdf is published.

now with the correct zip file

IF (and when) i get 8 digit number from JTAC, do I enter it same way (split half and zeros to end..) ? (so like in video put just one zero´s after numbers, instead of two zeros?)

This is my CAS cheat sheet if it is any use to you.

Every JTAC I've ever worked with passed MGRS Grid, Square and coords every time.  I've asked for this to be changed so hopefully we'll see something soon.  Until then, in the F10 map you can left click on the coords and they will change format.  Once you have MGRS just note the Grid you're in.

The DED is smart enough that it knows to do when you enter an eight digit grid. In other words you can skip the easting and northing 0's.

I wonder same question i get 8 digit code from jtac when enter it goes blank page and only reset is highlighted.

Edit: It appears that i was putting wrong Gzd. You can zoom in and see if there is given 2 latter code by Jtac in the area you presume gzd is. It was near border, double checked 2 letter codes and i realized it was other Gzd section.

For 8 digits, adding 1 Zeroes at the end Lat/Long and put it as 10 digit code.

Just enter 8 digits, system can handle that.
