G-Effects not working

I have G-Effects set to "Simulation", yet there is no blackout/redout or any visual feedback whatsoever.. I can only 'hear' the pilot struggling.
It used to work a few years back when I had it installed on my old PC.

In which Aircraft? I only flew Helicopter lately but the last time I flew F-16/F-14 it worked.

Only tested with su-25t so far.

Not sure if it is even implemented in the basic modules, sorry. (I doubt it though)

Also it's the steam version, running on 3080, i9 9900k, 32GB.. I only have the base install & flaming cliffs installed.

Yeh it's implemented in the su-25t for sure, or at least it used to be.. since I'm such a bad pilot I used to invoke the blackouts quite regularly lol

Perhaps they implemented a G-suit, doubt that the Su-25 can pull 9G. Just kidding.

Thanks for checking.. so something is amiss on my end.
Guys do the G-Effects rely on any other settings, other than having it set to 'simulation'?
Or are there any settings that could possibly disable the effects somehow?
Mine is basically just the High preset with a few options like MSAA switched off, I'll attach the config.

I compared your Lua file with mine. I have some settings that differ from you (but I'm pretty sure this won't change a thing about blackout/redout):

• padlock = false (GAMEPLAY)
• headmove = true (MISC.)

Well I changed those 2 options just to be sure but I don't think made a difference, however after some more experimenting I did manage to force a redout in the su-25, though still could not induce blackout whatsoever.
Then I jumped in a mig to try my luck with some heavier G.. and sure enough blackouts & redouts were both prominent.
So I'm guessing that the G-Effects threshold has been tweaked for more leniancy since I last played?
In my case.. this is a good thing lol

I'm not sure they've been tweaked. In the Su-25, you can't easily get the G's high enough unless the maneuvering flaps are extended. I think that might be what you're experiencing.

try pushing the nose forward and aim for negative G's. doesnt take much to get a red out, so if you dont then you have something turned off.

Yeh I can get redouts no problem in the su-25T by doing crazy aileron rolls, but no blackouts.

Thanks a lot for providing that file! I see you induce blackout after a hard right.
I still can't replicate it, and I've tried flaps at different settings.. one difference though is I'm in the su-25T, not the su-25 which I don't own.
Redouts are fine but blackouts are a no show.. so it's looking like an issue specifically with the su-25T.. weird!

It's a matter of Gs. You can't pull high Gs long enough in the Su-25T to blackout. You'll break the airframe first. This was one of my more spectacular attempts:

 

Take a look at the -25T's G meter. The "danger zone" starts at 6.5 Gs. If you stop there, it'll take a long time for much of any "blackout" to happen, if ever. If you push past bad things happen too quickly. The attached TRK file isn't the YT flight but you'll see what I mean.

 

Here's the MiG-29's G meter for comparison. You can go all the way up to 9 Gs before you hit the red zone:

The Su-25T comes free with the base game, along with the TF-51.

I know that, but originally the Su-25T WAS Flaming Cliffs. It came with the A-10A, Mig-29A/C/S, Su-27/33, Su-25 and F-15. the TF-51 had nothing to do with Flaming Cliffs.

Ahh, nostalgia. Small useless fact - ED once upon a time had blood spatter in the cockpit of the Su-25T. Wonder when they removed it.....

Yeez.. I do indeed have the SU-25.. completely forgot it was included with FC3 guys, sorry for the confusion bomb 
I will point out that I've yet to be promoted from noob rank... which is entirely evident by now I'm sure.

It all makes sense to me.
I could have sworn that blackouts were happening far more frequently some years back, as to why I've no idea.. perhaps I was in a situation with an empty loadout which allowed for more G's.
Either way G-Effects are clearly working as intended, so thanks again

They may have, though I personally don't remember it that way. If they were more frequent, it could be that the Su-25T has been made more fragile rather than the blackouts themselves having been altered.
