d0ppler Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 One thing : 50. NAV Master Mode -> route I can't dial "route", i got 5-6 other options like test, sim, oper, KB-1/KB-2 (or somehing). It seems like it gotta be on "oper" or else I can't dial in anything in the waypoint panel. Baldy Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Awesome, thank you DaWu, this was just what i needed! At last i could start up my chopper as in reality. What a tremendeous sense of achievement just to be able to start it up the true way, haha. :) But i still had some problems even with this guide :music_whistling: Maybe im stupid but how do i know when a switch is on or off? Do the pictures in this guide shows the switches before they are in the right position or after? I cant see on any labels or on tooltips when i hold my mouse on them if they are on or off either. I found out eventually by trial and error what position is right, but isnt there a system for this to know when smth is on or off?

I had the same problem when using the russian version. since I have the german version and the english cockpit you can read in the cockpit which positions means on/off/disabled/oper etc. the pictures in this guide show the position but not the correct setting for the knobs and switches 4

Oceandar Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Why don't you guys computer experts make step by step guidance using flash program like sp3 falcon ramstart. I would make one if I could. Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power. - Lao Tze
DaWu Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 becuase it takes a lot of time to create and has no advantage to a pdf version. you cant even print it
wickedpenguin Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 For example the APU start procedure. Another good idea is to create a small checklist without images so you can print it out. This already exists as an attachment in the ramp start trainer thread. Where is this attachment (and/or the thread referencing it)? I did a search and didn't come across it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
